I'm a little older, many things where 2 stroke as a kid. The markets are different here. A good chainsaw like a Stihl is an easy sale, and a push mower is only easy if really cheap. With chainsaws people tend to use until they have problems then buy another one. Usually easy fixes. Last Stihl the guy said was junk, and ran poorly. He was running about 30 to 1 mix left over from his very old saw, so was too lean.

My FS55R has given me nothing but headaches. I was given this trimmer about 3 years ago. Came close to throwing it out twice. But after having multiple arm workouts I was done!!! So I thinking I will give it one more shot. So I just ordered the kit. So we will see.

Hey I've had good luck with the China after market carburetors also , I've had to send one back out of ten that wouldn't run . Another thing my on/off switch has wore off the stamping , so sometimes I can't tell what's on and off . But my Stihl weed eater is 20 years old too , if that's the only problem - there isn't one . 🤣😂 Good Job ....😉

#metoo Bc I avoid this stuff like the plague. These switches get me all the time. MAYBE that’s our claim to fame. Design a switch that says ON AND OFF. Keep simple...not this Egyptian Hieroglyphics that is on there now! 🇺🇸🤙🏻🦅🔧. I’m glad your Stihl is up and running...my lack patience and experience drove me to go the battery powered route!

I installed an aftermarket carburetor, fuel tank and lines on KM55r. It ran great then 3 months later I went to use it and the fuel lines had rotted off. Now this I am replacing the carburetor again this time with OEM. No more aftermarket for me. I want it to run I don`t want to be fixing it every time I want to knock down weeds. I did an aftermarket carburetor on my lawn tractor and it is still working a year later.

People say hit and miss…I have an aftermarket carb on my Husky BFS360 for 3 years now no issues. Never changes my fuel lines. Fuel lines on Stihl are different then most just bc STIHL

Nice smart fix and flip Item. The guy around the corner from you says, we flippers don't have to fix anything. Unlike him. He claims to be a flipper now 🤣... he just tinkers with stuff. He fixed a wheel, then parks it behind the garage. Gets it out next week fixed a bolt. 😆 🤣 😂
