The paper I used is most likely the SMLT art pure cotton paper but I'm not entirely sure! It's been 2 years since I made the original video but I am sure that I used cotton watercolor paper for this. Thank you so much for watching!
Hello! I use crayons stablio carbothello on hahnemuhle velour and doesent look like this smooth like oil painting.. Is because of the crayons? Because are not like this ones you use?
@@pribadiramadhan1753 Yes it is relatively expensive unfortunately, though I've found each stick of pastel lasts a while as it can be reused many times:)
@@edgarallanpoe209 These were soft pastels though, oil pastels are very much different. But yes for soft pastels my Sennelier set cost a pretty penny $45.00 for 30 half sticks. My Paul Rubens oil pastel set (HAIYA) was $35.00 for 60 colors, nice and soft easily blendable. 😊
@@hambot I think it's an art event mom made me join when I'm 9 I think we only took few hours to finish it, especially with a person who is disabled like me sketching there.
I'm new to art and bought litteally a set of every type of medium you can get from hobby lobby for painting or drawing and doing portraits and artwork only because I had gotten a really nice travel watercolor setup for my birthday from my mom because she saw my sketchbook and all my beautiful drawings I do with just a regular number 2 pencil and said I would be good at painting and water color is easy to clean up and no need for harsh smelling thinners in a apartment and I was hooked and here I am 6 months later with every type of medium and so far soft pastels have been my favorite easy to blend and just looks amazing for doing beautiful beach portraits sunset or even just a regular sunny bright beach day portrait looks beautiful in soft pastels. So far my top ten mediums for art 1 the most I like and 10 least I like, 1 soft pastels, water colors, colored pencils, oil pastels, charcoal, acrylic paint , oil paint, pencil,
Okay, so I've been doing the same though I have to add much more layers because we do this on black cardboard and it's just killing me, so I think I'll buy pastel papers from now on
My aunt gave me these soft oil pastels and i thought i had to color it very roughly- it was so messy right after and i thought it runs out super fast🧍♂️ turns out i just have to softly colour and blend it😭
Yeah I tried these square shaped pastels they really suck for mine but yours is incredible!! holy moly but how do you get it to not smear? this is my problem lol

I find soft pastels one if the most unappreciated mediums- they are beautiful and your artwork is equally stunning!
Is it hella expensive??? Cause it looks like so quick to run out compared to like watercolor or gouache

@@pribadiramadhan1753 Idk mine weren’t super expensive, i got a pack of 12 faber castell oil pastels for £6 and a 24 pack was £12

Wow those blended beautifully, the finished artwork looks like it was straight out of a museum 💜
agreed
That’s some serious talent right there! I think if i were working on this piece and it were in those early stages I’d have given up and cried lol
Haha, me too
😂😂😂That's how I feel every time I start a new painting.... It's so discouraging at the beginning but if you keep going it gets better and better
It's the skills bro, skill she learnt through her hard work
Very beautiful. Love the music too.
best tools for art, they are so dope cuz you never mess up, you can simply add light and dark at will and just smush them together when needed
I've been on the fence about getting a set of oil pastels and this comment just sold me! wish me luck lol
You should sell your art work because it's really pretty and i'm sure people would love to buy it.
You made it look so easy, the skills you have with those hands !!
This reminds me of one of those incidental figures in a rennaissance painting, that is astounding in its simplicity and mastery at the same time!
I Just purchased some soft oil pastels and I’m excited to create with them 🥹
Wow.... Its really amazing i like yr all video can u plz tell me that which oil pestle colour u are using
I used to use oil pastels, i was joined in an art class. But now, im an desperate man who cant do anything good.
They are so hard to get used to! I'm not even used to them yet. Good luck!

I wonder if you tried using another way of blending than your finger. I know flesh sometimes is the best blender but…
How do you capture such detail with a soft pastel, my artworks always look a smudgy abstract mess!
That blended incredibly well...
Love it!!!❤❤
