8:57 You are right! Either verbal component, material component, or somatic component. And its not just as a description, but an integral part. Because thats how you "cancel" spellcasters.
Get them silent somehow, get their hands tied up, take away their arcane or divine focus or component pouch.
Then you are good. The only one who can still cast spells then, is maybe a character like Simon, a sorcerer, if he has the "Subtle Spell" metamagic option. Which is by the way amazing for every campaign who has lots of social encounters. Subtle Spell Charming ftw :)

Look at the body language between Justice Smith and Sophia Lillis. Usually she has a ''shield'' but later her legs are ''open'' to his direction and warms up to him and looks at him more often. He on the other hand almost always looks at her when he talks but his legs are in a guarded position towards her. That's interesting.

She's least awkward in interviews where it's her and Smith.
Chris Pine said she's very introverted, so I think it's that she's comfortable with Smith, a lot more so than with the rest of the cast? As an introvert it's a lot easier to open up and talk when you're with someone you know. Someone commented on one of the interviews that it looks like she's trying to have a conversation with him which, yeah, if you don't know the interviewer that would certainly help.
(Is it weird and creepy that I'm watching interviews and trying to figure out what each actor is like? I already suspect I would struggle with Rodriguez, not because she's bad or anything, just that she seems like the sort to be loud and brash and I struggle being around people like that (my dad and his friends)).

I’ve noticed that both actors try to get her to talk…

I think I'm the only one who watches the interviews and tries to find out what the actors are like, especially Sophia Lillis, she's really closed off These people have a lot of information inside them I think she is not a lesbian, but she is still young, 22, and she is still in the period of self-discovery, and her problem is that people treat her like a child, and Justice did not do that and He gave her what she thought she deserved, and that was enough @@TheCererean

@@a__812I strongly suspect she's autistic though.
Hence why she could portray Doric so well :D

@@TheCererean I'm with you on this I think she is trying to treat this. She once said that one of the things that made her love acting was communicating with many people. It is possible that this helps her in some way as a treatment.

Am I the only one finding Rege a little annoying in every interview?
