- Perfect dodging can be kind of challenging for people who aren't used to this type of game, so I figured I'd give you a little bit of advice and some tips and tricks to getting good at this. Dodging only seems kind of challenging because you don't understand the timing and the animation of it, it only takes a little bit of practice, and you'll have it down in no time.

The fact that the team listened to players' feedback and fixed the problem regarding the cancelling dodge is amazing, not like Ubisoft's founding excuse for everything.
Did they actually do that? because I was always able to do that from the beginning. The only move you can't cancel out of is the last move but it's been that way since the demo came out.

Training has the entire skill treee unlocked, including the increased dodge/parry window defeating the purpose of saying not to grab the perk until one gets used to base dodge.
Ngl, perfect dodging just feels so satisfying. Double dodging on the side and then turning up behind, or beside the enemy makes me feel like a dang ninja!

Definitely a Parry & Dodge combo is really satisfying, and makes the combat so much more enjoyable

Still working on getting the dodge down to a T, but got Blink Strike down right

I was really struggling with dodge mechanics thinking it was clunky. I'll try holding circle instead against an alpha naytiba side quest.
My problem was the when. It felt inconsistent and needed more guidance.
Did you practice?
I have the same problem with consistency. In my case I have to get used to using controller (long time PC gamer, just bought PS5 for this).

The only thing with the perfect dodge is some of the moves these enemies do. They launch up and they land but you see the landing isn't the actual hitbox the thing they do after is. Idk find that very odd to try to dodge
Currently trying to master perfect dodging, but I don't understant what you mean with "holding it with the animation"? Could you please explain? I can only perfect dodge if I tap the button at the precise moment. Or am I misunderstanding something?
He means just holding the dodge button instead of tapping it real quick.
Press and hold dodge button until your character is done with the slow motion flip
What exactly do you mean? Hold the button with the animation because it does nothing for me
Whenever you do a perfect Dodge hold the button down until your character comes out of the perfect Dodge animation, then release the circle button, it's to get you used to the timing and Rhythm of the enemy that you're fighting.
Now this is what works for me it might not work for everybody like that though. Everybody has different learning patterns
Also there's a one second input delay so if you're tapping Parry or tapping dodge button the one second delay tends to mess up inputs. Holding for a second makes it a little easier to get around the input delay.
But like I said this is how I approach the game it might not necessarily fit your style if that's the case you're going to have to develop your own style of doing things
Im sure they will implement an option to auto dodge like in Final fantasy 16 or bayonetta 😁
you get a prompt like XVI on story mode, not auto, but it shows you when to do it

are you really expecting people to engage with a game for 5 minutes in a Training room? That`s way too much, its obviously the game`s fault
Yes I'm expecting people to spend some time in the training room. It's only 5 minutes it's not that long it's definitely not the game's fault it's the players fault for not taking their lazy ass into the training room
@@BushidoXBrown i know. I was being sarcastic. But there's some truth to it. Some people expect games to play the way they expected them to play or how other games they liked play without engaging much with it
