Mike Hunt watch the history video Ka-bar made it says how they came up with the name because they got a letter talking about how some guy killed a bear with the knife so like killa bar then to ka-bar
You started off with an incorrect statement. The knife is USMC-style, as in the US Marines. The US Army is an entirely different entity. I watched until 1:16, but if you cannot get something as simple as this information correct, I have no faith that the rest of the video will not have errors as well.
Ripped Biscuit Yeah I know. The Army, Marines, and Navy used it but it was mainly Marines. But I fear that he thinks the Marines and Army are the same thing! 😧
I'm sorry but this was terrible to watch!!! The Kabar is not heavy at all, and it's not a big knife, and the Marines carried this Knife, not the army, they carried trench knives!! You obviously didn't do ANY research on this knife whatsoever! I carry this knife as my EDC. It's a knife meant to be used and abused, so If you don't like a few scratches on the sheath or on the knife, which it will in time, then maybe you should have got yourself a plastic toy knife, not a fighting/utility knife such as Kabar. This knife is meant for Real men, not pretty boys!!
Man...your knife came beat up and shit lookin' right outta the box. And so did the sheath!
Where did you get the "fact" that it's called ka-bar after Killed a bear??? It stands for Knife Attachment-Browning Automatic Rifle

why is the handle offset from the blade ?
Greatest Ever that is normal but idk
It's so that the tip of the blade is closer to the middle of the handle, making it easier to stab I believe.

It was the Marines who used it not the army. Everyone who doesn’t know any other branch always say the army did things when really it was Marines
The Marines used it not the Army.
WeaponSouth many army soldiers did use it. But the story he was telling was about the marines not the army.

He also thinks the "great war" was WW2.
Plus it’s Corps not Corpse
Home and personal protection is no laughing matter, That's why I pake a K-Bar👍
It's a "sheeeeeth", not a "shath"!
best video if you wanna see what you're getting... thanks
