When i want my day to start with a smile instead of switching on the TV to listen to the news, I listen to the Austin Ukulele Society and unlike the news they guarantee I will feel better after watching all those wonderful earnest face playing their Ukes with such skill and dexterity, you are making a difference in the world, I know how much work and dedication it must take to keep the society running and I for one appreciate it, thank you.
Hi, people from Austin Ukulele Society. Congratulations to all of you. We can see happyness on every face. That's what friends and ukulele does. We Also have many groups of ukulele friends in Brazil with ours master João Tostes and Vinícius Vivas. And we all Love It. Big hugs from Brazil.
Wow Wow Wow!!! I just love you gorgeous group of people; young: old: and in-between: Thank you so much for providing me - a 77yo oldie - with so much joy. CHEERS to you ALL.
"So good! So good! So good!" The happy vibe is so strong it's rolling over the snow here in Western Canada. This is your best EVER. You're all amazing - the young, the old, the "class-clowns." Lolol Who doubts the ukulele can transform the world??! Blessings and thanks.
@@barbarag.5521 Thanks Barbara! Heh, my wife Lyda and I are the "video crew." :) She and I set up cameras in spots around the room each time before the group performs the song. After, I gather all the footage, then edit and produce the video. Currently using Adobe Premiere. It's fun!
Hello there, I am in Australia and I play with the online Melbourne Ukulele Community. I really enjoy watching and listening to your songs there at the Austin Uke Soc. You are all so happy and really good players! Super Duper! Stay safe and keep well!
Big thankyou to Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids who played that song what brought me here in the end. So good to see even more people making music together. It's like a dream from the past. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland :)
@@BobGuz In the heart of Europe, Czech republic. I've been following you guys for some two years now, even started a local uke club for youths in my town. I even got some videos of us on my channel, so thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work!
I've really enjoyed your videos since I discovered your You Tube channel a few months ago but this one must be one of the best. I love your camera angles - they show the enjoyment on your members faces so well. Good to see that you have a few "actors" amongst your members. Sweet Caroline is a popular choice amongst members of the ukulele club I'm involved with (Churchdown Ukulele Club, based at Churchdown, which is a village mid way between Cheltenham and Gloucester in the UK) but I'm going to "steal" one or two snippets from your arrangement if that's OK. One of our members came along to your November meeting while she was visiting her son who lives in Austin. I look forward to seeing and hearing which song you have planned for your Valentine day's meeting.
Hello David! Thanks so much for your comments! Yes, folks are indeed getting more comfortable having the cameras around and we have some members who like to ham it up. I love it and also try to include those clips in the final video! Feel free to borrow anything you like from our arrangement -- that's a compliment! Share a video if you can! I remember meeting your member at our November meeting, when we did our Christmas tune. I didn't get a chance to chat with her after the meeting -- I hope she had fun. Cheers!

I really enjoy playing along with you
Where it began,
I can't begin to knowin'
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who'd have believed you'd come along.
Hands, touchin' hands
Reachin' out, touchin' me touchin' you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I, look at the night
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two.
And when I hurt,
Hurtin' runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when I'm with you
Warm, touchin' warm
Reachin' out, touchin' me touchin' you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined,
To believe they never would
Oh, no, no
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline,
I believe they never could
Sweet Caroline...
Wonderful
Fabulous!
Thanks Carol!
Nice job everyone!

Where it began, I can't begin to knowing
But then i did not think it would go so good in the group stage
Then the group stages became the knock outs
Who'd have believed we be still there
Hands, touching fans
Reaching out, singing loud, hands on hearts
Sweet England
Good times never seemed so good right now
I'd been inclined not To believe
but now I do it so good so good
Look at the team and each other
it wont seem so lonely
We filled the stadium with English cheer
And when we are behind it hurts
but hurt runs off are shoulders
How can we hurt when we are all there
all of us singing loud Reaching out,
hands on hearts, motivating the team
Sweet England
Good times never seemed so good right now
I'd been inclined not To believe
but now I do
it so good so good
good times never seemed so good right now
Sweet England
I believe they never could
1:16 too wholesome
can i ask the strumming pattern thanks

its good but its very cultish
