- Do I see where people are coming from when they say this is more of a b track? Yes BUT that said it is such a statement to flip the script and go for something that is “unordinary” from your own repertoire when it comes to title tracks. I think this was such a great comeback, perfection to me even and it ticks every single one of my boxes! It might lack their signature wow factor that their MV usually brings but I believe you don’t have to go big and extravagant to create an impact. This was so elegant and ethereal and yet so grounded and full of personality. This song could easily have fallen flat but because they’re sining about their own story they elevated the song to feel more heavy and full! The replay factor to me is 100% there and to top it off, I see this song to have longevity, meaning it won’t age bad. I know many people won’t agree but to me this is perfect and possibly my favorite comeback of theirs yet! I love this so so so much. It reminds me of XG and FLO and well, if you know me, you already know nsnsnsns This is IT for me! The visual is stunning as well, great balance to counter balance how chill the song is! Been replaying this song ever since it dropped and I’m vibing so much to it! It’s so good!

I appreciate your opening monologue. As an adult who became a Kpop fan I struggle with these childish thoughts that come with being a Kpop fan. I can only imagine how difficult it is for a younger audience to realise how toxic being a Kpop stan can make you.

@@Vaijiro I think this is the problem of "fandoms" as a phenomenon. Anime/kpop/jpop, etc. I came across this in the anime community. And with this experience I became interested in Kpop at the age of 32 and immediately realized that I would bypass any fandoms for 10 miles, no matter how kind and friendly they seemed.
I'm in the same boat and why I enjoy her content because we've been listening to kpop for so long i've become desensitized to all the childish narratives kpop fans (usually young) have to say about MUSIC
like idgaf if this tt doesn't check the boxes for what should be considered a "title track" its a good ass song! The whole album bops i'm a happy listener! Do I still wish songs were longer? of course but it won't take away from the enjoyment

Social media makes it so easy to get outraged about everything when it shouldn't. But its hard to stay away from social media nowadays.
I love that they did not go for the energetic typical kpop formula everyone is doing.this is very chill mellow song just the kind of vibe I dig . Very easy listening. I love it.

@@jame254well the company is CURATED this for them, and of course not all kpop groups are hands on or have the power to pick all songs.. but the lyrics are specially made for the girls and some of them are writing lyrics in their own lines to make it authentic
I think the r&b girlies across kpop are also going to love this more than the more pop loving girlies and that’s fine

This song is so good. Who cares if it doesn't sound like stereotypical kpop music. You're just ignorant if you think "Kpop" should only have one style. This is simply good music that is also in the Korean language
For me, I usually like their b-sides a lot more than their title tracks and I do also think that this sounds more like a b-side, and thats why I absolutely love it, for me it still feels 100% like le sserafim
Also we do not all have to love it, but if you listen to the girls, it’s pretty obvious that they love it, so let them make the music they like
I feel the same way about their amazing b-sides! Easy is very vibey and chill listening like Impurities, Blue Flame, Sour Grapes, Fire in the Belly and I can also put Smart and Swan Song in this category
my only complain is its abit short .. i feel like a minor switch in the end would make it perfect

I agree with you so much, this may not be their most exciting song but it does have longevity, it’s a song that no matter what you’re not going to be “tired” of listening to it. I have to admit I was thrown off at first too but the more I listen to it the more I thought of just listening to it on its own because at first I had certain expectations due to their previous releases so I was expecting a song with a BIG drop but this was different and I think a lot of people expected that too.
Also people have to keep in mind that Le Sserafim is very diverse when it comes to genres, they don’t have a “concept” they stick too because their very experimental with their sounds, people just forgot about that cause their previous songs were all full of heavy drops. I personally miss this type of music where it’s not all about the drops, hooks and catchy phrases. Overall I love this mini album the rest of the music in it were all a vibe.
also seems ppl don't know that this is a new trilogy. Fearless, Antifragile, and Unforgiven is done, so now it's a new "book" 😊

I know it sounds a little weird, but I think HOW you listen to this song has a dramatic effect on how lively/catchy it is. I’ve noticed people reacting to it through a computer monitor/laptop or tv speakers are lukewarm on it vs higher quality headphones and such seem to resonate with them more positively! This song REALLY benefits from being listened to where the bass can be punchy and the backing tracks are clear, so a good sound system or headphones really make the layers and groove stand out. I was playing it on my phone in the kitchen waiting for my coffee to heat up and was a little like “ehhhh it’s not for me” but I gave it a second chance later on my Sonos surround system (Subwoofer, high quality speakers, crystal clear soundbar) and it grew on me immediately.. to the point where I think it might be one of my favorites!
I think the other thing for me was “Good Bones” being so energetic, I was ready for that to carry over to the title track and I wasn’t in the mindset for it right from the get go, so I had to recalibrate.
i agree about the sound quality thing, i listened to it on my phone first when i woke up this morning and i liked it but didn’t love it but when i put in my headphones to listen to the album my opinion completely changed, i totally loved it with the heavier bass and more depth to the layers
Listen on my Bose headphones with the same opinion still applying. EP still mid. Smart is good and so is the swan song.

GLAD THAT A KPOP STAN LIKE YOU EXISTS!!! Someone who doesn't stick to just liking a generic vibe or type of pop music which is what pop music and music in general is all about. This song easily became my fave title track as it is a different sound from them, and they managed to pull off the vibe even if it was something they've never done before!!! I just like it so much when artists, or even producers take risks to produce something new and yet it's still good.

Yes! I love your opinion. I think people are just so used to “loud, extravagant” comebacks that any songs that doesn’t fit in that category is considered as “bad” or “not worthy” or “bside”.
Like people are saying it should be as a bside, but there are no standards or rules for what’s considered to be as a bside or the main track. There are no rules to say that a groovy song could only belong in the bside, it’s about how the song makes you feel. There’s no rules in enjoying the music and feeling good, so people in the comments if you’re going to criticise it then keep your criticism to yourself!
International sounding, minimalistic rnb/hiphop production, they are following the XG / Blackpink route. I like they are taking this route.

Girl groups are experimenting with more hip-hop/R&B oriented tracks now. There is an obvious XG influence. She even kinda mentions that at 4:34. i even spotted a couple quick XG moves in the choreo if u look rly closely. the track is smooth though LSFM did a very good job. Would absolutely love to see a XG/LSFM collab it would be insane.

i think their first three singles were about them making a splash, but now they’re stripping it back a bit and allowing their talent to speak for itself. the video itself is basically a performance video with the occasional glamour shot, because it feels like they’re saying they don’t need much else. also perfect night was such an unexpected hit (it even got a win on inkigayo for its chart performance), so i think their team is maybe leaning into a more relaxed production style given the success of that song.

the problem with the internet /X era is that no matter what you drop, some will hate some will love. if they dropped a "kpop" type song, people would say kpop sounds all the same, but cuz they dropped a bop that has replayability people call it B side type song. i love this comeback and im like you, is my type of sound. and tbh i think it fits Le sserafim members so much better. The thing about kpop nowadays which i love is the emphasis on the MUSIC and the listenability.
Past kpop was more emphasized on the music video and performance so more impact and on your face sounds were preferred. But gurl… i personally LISTEN to kpop i dont stream mvs on yt like a child streaming bp lmao
