New Beko display in Currys! 12kg bPRO500 B5W1241AW and 8kg b300 B3W5841IW overview

- First time I’ve been in my local currys in a while and the display has changed yet again and omg they look unreal!
Currys recently changed their displays so rather than displaying machines from biggest to smallest capacity they’re going by brand instead and each brand has their own booth essentially which looks SOOO much better
A max of 3 machines are displayed on each booth with other models on display from the respective brand being beside or behind the booths and all ones on the booths are indeed plugged in!
For people thinking of buying one
for me these are my personal go to machines when recommending a new machine to someone they don’t go overboard with features and sensing and are just simplistic decent quality machines in my books :) - Наука та технологія
I have to say, after watching your videos of your own Beko bPRO500 I’m astounded by how much Beko have actually improved on their new machines! Sensing is so much better on yours and actually adjusts to smaller loads, no more using rivers for every load 😂
Love your videos too lad, you have some good machines and make good videos too. Much better than others imo. Made me want to buy a bPRO500 for myself but I don’t want the tinted screen at the same time 😢
I’m shocked at them too lol they certainly ain’t the beko I’m used to programming wise 🤣 even from my old grundig that got refunded they’ve improved massively in a year! I agree about the heat shield I took mine off but think I’m just gonna buy a b300 door for it at some point as the middle bit falling out can be a bit of a pain 😂

Absolutely lovely machines. So looking forward to getting my B300. By the time I order my B300 I wonder if I’ll get the one with the new chime.

Hi, quick question. Do you by any chance know if the new Smeg Machines (specifically the WNP96SLAAUK) are built to the same spec as these new Beko machines? I.e same components, programming, features etc. (Specifically looking to see if it has the same drum light) I noticed the Smeg machine has the same Aquacare Drum but couldn’t find much else on their website about the machine other than it has an auto dose feature and a slightly larger, slicker looking LED panel.
hi yes the smeg washers are just bekos renamed. the build will be exactly the same on the inside and programming almost the same except you get some special cycles almost all bekos dont have such as auto wash and features like extra water and autodosing like you mentioned :) the smeg ones should also come with a recirculation water jet on the door seal even though they don't mention that they have it. but overall they are pretty much the same just different outside designs 🙃

@@Lukas99905They both look UNREAL I saw big display WD for the first time today too but it was sitting all wrapped up in the middle of the shop floor waiting to be put on display I’m presuming 🥲
I heard that the 12/8kg wds take like 9:30 for a 8kg wash and dry load altough isnt as bad as the hisense wd 12/8kg wich takes 9:50

I do yes they’re the first and main brand I recommend to people who need a new washer plus would be the only brand I’d buy brand new for daily use :) just don’t cheap out on one and buy the cheapest one they sell. The really cheap ones with only 3 buttons and no time remaining display only have 3 hour cycles on them and little choice of programs. The likes of homewhiz and aquatech ones are really good though (like the ones in this video) I have a 10kg aquatech and love it :) wouldn’t recommend bothering with their Smart Control app but on a whole they’re great 😊
@@Washerboy2006 thanks, went and bought one online. Also Im not sure how cheap you mean because Beko brands here in my country are way cheaper than LGs and other big brands. But the one i bought is also b300 series, it has homewhiz but only says aquawave not aquatech.
The 12kg one has direct drive doesn't it??
No just normal inverter motor :)
@@Washerboy2006 Oh I heard they had direct drive that's interesting I wonder if that's just for other countries
@@tprods2087 some of the big 12kg drum arceliks from their previous range before beyond series was introduced had direct drive motors as far as I’m aware and a few of the really old high end models had direct drive too but don’t think any beko’s in the uk have had a direct drive motor so far :)
