One of the best camera views vids I’ve seen, helps to see the ride and trail better. Actually feel the intensity of the trail especially the forest area. Lol kept expecting someone to clip there elbows
That’s great to hear 😊 I’m really happy with the angle and mounting position of the camera, I do feel that it is about as good as it gets for being as realistic as possible.
Amazing video, your new camera set up is brilliant. If I had two feet that worked I would love to have been there. Don't forget Morvich to Cannich via Glenn Affric, you will love it, hard for 50%, pure joy and scenery for the rest. All the best to you and Alix. Keep on trailing.
Andrew keep safe and keep healthy during the lockdown. we cant ride here in South Africa at all. we can get food and medicine and thats about it. we still have about 2 weeks to go but as the trend is going ours might be extended again for the second time. All i can say im missing the mountains and trails. Thanks for the content. Thanks for the adventure!!
Another Ace Video ! Greg is pretty quick and you should defo try a Orange in your right Size .....I'm regretting Selling my Stage 6 . When your back at Inners if you haven't you must try a Trail called. Too Hard for EWS . It's right by the start of the Classic and Personally I think its one of the hardest trails there .....Brilliant Fun !
Your videos inspired me to get back in to biking. Waiting for the virus saga to be over so that I can go riding again. Being based in London doesnt help. But I can at least watch these and think "one day" 😁
Congratulations on the award, well deserved. Great video as always. Just remember, never underestimate an "old git". I say this as a 54 year old, lol. Stay safe.
How far is this from Fort William? Me and few friend coming up to Scotland in September to ride fort William where we are staying and also Laggan wolftrax but this looks mint but don't want to go too far away
Great riding in those rutty chute steeps, both you & Greg. Looks like pedal-snag city to me! Also, don't be fooled by 50 yrs old, I know a lot of quick riders w/ skill who are 50+.
I’ve ridden with so many people in their 50/60 who are better than me👍 Is great to know for me now, that it is possible to still be that good at that kind of age 😊
Nice ride. How's the new Kali Invader helmet going? I'd be interested in a review video or a post as there is very little chat about it on the interweb.
I need a bit more time with the helmet to make a proper video/review on it. What I will say for now though, is that it is my new go-to helmet and I’m extremely happy with it. Light, breathable, comfy and hassle free 👌
@@McTrailRider Cheers for that. I have no experience in full face helmets and live in a place... let's say, more temperate than the Scottish Highlands. General lockdown is going to have to force my hand without trying one on prior.
Great video and congratulations for the award. Anyone watching this got any experience getting the train up to Scotland 🏴 to ride? Where’s the best place to head for?
Thanks Richard. I can’t help you with train advice but I would recommend heading to the Tweed Valley as it has the most riding available in a small area👍
Where you getting the train from? I’ve stayed in Innerleithen many tines, trained up easy. Book far enough in advance for cheap first class - makes all the difference :)
Andrew Larking would be coming from London, from what I’ve seen online you go to Edinburgh, then after that it’s a little more tricky. How did you do it and where have you stayed and ridden? Bare in mind I’m from London so most of my local mtbing pretty tame, rides blues and reds at bike park wales. Fitness is good.
I'm missing this sort of thing! Great job on the Vid Andrew and great riding from you both. Hope you and the good Lady are keeping well? 👍
Looks sweet we will have to sort group ride out mark :)
Me too, I keep thinking back to this weekend and reminiscing about how good things used to be😜 Me and the lady are good thsnks👍
Filmed in Innerleithen just over a week before lockdown began. Last day of Gnar for me😔
watcing this vid makes me wanna ride these trails so much dude. good work, and again good job on the award! hope you are well
It was your videos that made me want to hit up Adrenaline uplift man👍 Such a cool place! Stay safe Lewis 🤘
Great Stuff buddy 👌🚴 enjoyed that's buddy on this bloody lockdown Can't wait get to the trails buddy 😜🤘🚴🚴
Cheers Taffy, can’t wait to get back out either🤘

Thanks Pete, I’ve not forgotten about the Morvich trip, in fact, if it wasn’t for this lockdown I would probably would have done it by now.

Staying nice and safe now 👍 Lockdown sucks! Sounds even tougher with you though, but maybe that will prove to be more effective in the long run🤞
That's is fucking insane buddy!!🤦🏻♂️ So so steep, muddy and slippery. Big balls and awesome skills mate! Congrats!
You would love this place Jorge, well, in the dry anyway 😜
Angry sheep’s a great trail love it’s. The one as u come off angry sheep is also very good think it’s bye driver
Angry sheep, green wing and bye driver are all fantastic trails and a little bit different to the rest of the hill too👍
Another ace vid man. Need to get a proper look at that last one, I've absolutely no idea where that is!
Thanks James, this is Innerleithen, I didn’t mention it once in the video 🤦🏼♂️

I did enjoy that Orange👍 I news to try that trail, not done it yet and heard good things about it.
I love Greg!! 🤣 Hope both you and Alix are well!!
Greg is awesome, such a nice guy 👍 Me and Alix are good, all the best to you and Joe.
Yeah 🤘🏻 now i have an orange alpine. I'm very happy.
Nice! Turns out they are quite nice bikes👍
That trail at around 10:20 😲 You know it's gotta be serious when it looks that steep on a gopro. Very strong riding from both of you 🤟
That’s “Second Date” as far as I’m aware, the slightly less steep version of “First Date” which is just ridiculous 😮
@@McTrailRider It must be when it's even steeper than that.

Awesome to hear dude 👍 Not much riding in London itself, but there are a few good locations a relatively short drive away 👍
I wish I was able to go to places like that my closet trail system is ballo but I can see what they look like when watching your videos
Your nearest trails are better than mine, Ballo is really good and your closer to the tweed valley than me too. It’s a 7 hour round trip for me.
Some great looking trails 👍👍
Some of the best👌
Congratulations on the award, well deserved. Great video as always. Just remember, never underestimate an "old git". I say this as a 54 year old, lol. Stay safe.
Old gits are generally twice as fit as me and just as fast, if not faster on the way down too. Can’t wait to get older😜

They are just over 3 hours apart but Innerleithen might be roughly en route if you come up from scotch corner area.
@@McTrailRider okay thanks for info. Could maybe visit it on way home will have to see. All the best stay safe 👍🙏

spot on videos spot on riding. what tyre pressure do you recommend for trails like this I always seem to have them to hard or to soft?
Thanks dude, I’m currently running 20/22 psi front/rear. Will run a bit softer for mud and harder for rocky trails of course.
@@McTrailRider great thanks for that and congratulations on your award....and be safe to the both of you.
Great vid stay safe Andrew remember stage 4 think it took me 17 mins . 😂.
Stage 4 was an absolute slog but I’m glad it was dry for the enduro, even harder in the wet 😬
Good vid
ya must of been Baltic all them muddy puddles
Wasn’t too bad, I just layered up well👍

@@richardwager283 if you get a train to Edinburgh there are buses that take you to glentress/inners which you can take bikes on.
Very Nice
Thanks Lucas👍
You dont say in the video, but im guessing that this is Innerleithen?
Yep, Innerleithen 👍
Mc trail 4 president
😂😂
Sorry where is that trail ?
All the trails are in the main hill in Innerleithen.
@@McTrailRider hill innerlaithem in Monte Malaga ?

I miss Angry sheep. :(
Me too 😔
You rode date night not second date, second date is steeper and in my opinion better
Your absolutely right, I always thought it was the other way round 🙄
@@McTrailRider there is some amazing corners on 2nd date make sure to hit it next time
No matador no balls
If you say so🤷🏼♂️
