    It takes balls to be so transparent so props for that, there's a ton of videos out there with all fluff and no meat that don't clarify a thing.

    I'm currently 23 and you're such an inspiration for me! Thank you very much for sharing everything so openly, having such a surplus & being careful with it every month at this age is amazing, respect for that! Also, the way you said about what you come from.. I can relate.. Really happy that you've created a better life for yourself, it's a great feeling, cheers!

    I watched your video from last year, and as soon as I saw this one recommended in my feed, I had to click on it. 🔥 I really appreciate your transparency 🙏🏻. I’d love to see some content about the process of switching jobs in Switzerland. I’m planning to move there next year, so content on that topic would be really helpful.

    Almost 6k surplus every month is super impressive. It's also a very good thing that you're already looking into how to invest that money, you need to get started ASAP to take advantage of compound interest.
    At one point you mention putting money away to cover unexpected taxes in a 1% yield savings account. I think you should look into low risk investments like bonds and money markets which have a 3-5% return.
    I'm curious to see what the real estate investment you're teasing at the end is. Personally I stay away from real estate ownership since that needs to be actively managed and I already have a full time job, but I do have money invested in REITs (another thing for you to look into 😉).

    from what I've heard here switzerland aint as magical to live in as everyone's trying to make it look... self-insurance 300+ franks? paying for parking spot at your own firm (and actually at home too, should be included in rent) ... also, you should look for more, 60k/year is too low for full stack in switzerland.

    • @RichardStrittmatter

    Your expenses and SaLaRY shouldn’t matter to anyone but you. Weird content and anyone who disagrees should reevaluate their priorities in life.

    • @RichardStrittmatter
      @RichardStrittmatter  3 місяці тому +12

      I disagree. Talking openly about money and being transparent about finances should be normalized. When people stay silent about their financial situation, it gives employers a significant advantage, as it keeps employees in the dark about fair compensation. Transparency empowers workers to know what they deserve and to negotiate effectively. Besides, I find it genuinely insightful to learn what others in the industry are earning-it's valuable information that helps everyone grow.
