'Die Mauer', the song that first reveals what an amazing voice Thåström has, and the FACT, as I see it, the best voice EVER to express PAIN. I have heard that the guys in the group 'Imperiet', where Thåström was the vocalist, didn't like it at all, but IMPERIETs version of 'Märk hur vår skugga'... WOW! His voice cuts in the soul. And last but not least, Joakim Thåström singing Evert Taube's 'Briggen Blue Bird av Hull'. I cry every time I hear him singing that one.
Ebba Grön was the most succesfull of swedish punk rock bands of the 70's and 80's, most of their lyrical and melodical talents and the fact their music wasn't the most hard core. Metallica covered this song at a live concert in Gothenbourgh...I belive it was at 2017 or 2018.

They came from a very ruff neighborhood called Rågsved in Stockholm. A lot of drug problems there. An artist reacting to his surrondings.

I live in Norsborg and its not a knock on Rågsved. Its a fact that Rågsved had a lot of drug problems at the time. I live in a similar typ of area.
I was just pointing out that the music they wrote was a reaction to the surrondings that they lived in.

Like the government is ruling us and by its side is the money. The government decides everything and you have to have money in the society to function.
