Thanks for the video. Brought a tear to my eye seeing my own boat still tied up in POW Marina, waiting for her trip north. Hopefully she’ll leave next week.
Looks like you were at PoWBM in berth D19 or thereabouts Grant... :) I'm in B8, still, ready to go soon. Thanks for the video, it's a great place to sail. :) Looks like you're currently up Mackay way, a tad warmer than back here in Hobart! :)
Glad you liked the video. Yes, a fantastic place to sail. I only crewed from Hobart to Coffs Harbour, Bill who owns the boat is currently at Middle Percy Island. Enjoy your journey.
Great to revisit areas I used to sail in my own boat Grant, a Cavalier 32 that I bought in Newport Sydney and sailed home in '98. Wonderful scenery and nicely captured. I'll look forward to following your journey.
Hi Grant. I had my Cavalier for 6 years and loved it. I raced it once I got it home, and won a twilight pennant in my first year of sailing much to the old salts of the clubs amazement.. Here's a video a mate made of me telling my tale on getting "Cavalier Lady" home. ua-cam.com/video/FNHTYTSZ0F0/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Tewbacka I do miss it , but dont miss the maintenance and bills. Spending the money on the AT now instead. hahahaha
Great images of a very special part of the Aus coast. Thanks
Thanks for the comment Andy.

Thanks Gary. How long did you have the Cavalier and do you still get a hankering?
