The current drummer is Mark Richardson,a friend of my wife.Before he was in Feeder he was in Skunk Annasie and before that the Little Angels. Check out some of the Little Angels stuff on You Tube classic rock !!!!!!!!!!

@DirtyMosha Well that pissed me off once when I was listening to Buzzcocks and my housemate said "is that a parody of Sid Vicious?". To her punk began and ended with the Sex Pistols. But I was just trying to settle some confusion about whether it was the Foos or Feeder who formed first; pointing out that it was bands LIKE Nirvana etc who inspired the next wave of grunge style bands and that Foos and Feeder are contemporaries of rather than influences on each other. Anyways peace dude x

Technically Foo Fighters would be the American version of Feeder because Feeder formed before Foo Fighters, just saying. But yeah they do have a very similar sound.
I always wondered why America never embraced this band. If I'm not mistaken, only two of their albums have been released here: Polythene and Comfort In Sound. I'm not sure either one is still in print. Yet sadly, there's a ton of awful crap that sells by the millions. The god-awful tastes of my fellow Americans never cease to amaze.

A lot of people say anyone who is popular is over-rated, because there are better underground drummers, but if they're good and they get recognised, good for them.
