- In this episode of the VW Golf 2 Rallye X RS3 build we started on the next to do.
Fitted the complet Audi steering kolom in the golf 2 and went oon with the brake booster issue.
The idea behind this is to easily transfer more electronics of the RS3 to the Rallye later on.
With the steering kolom in it should save us some time later on in the build doing the ingnition shifting and padle shifts even the cruise control should work when we are done.
Enjoy watching the Golf 2 Rallye adventure.

Hi 👋🏻 thanks man !
@@NonstandardNL 👋🏽
Is er eigenlijk iemand die een golf 2 heeft die een verstelbaar stuurkolom heeft. Mooi bedacht en gemaakt 👌
Geen idee nooit op gelet. Bouw nu gewoon wat ons tof en haalbaar lijkt.
I like you! :D Very rare car!
Thanks 😊
Can't thank you enough for recording your work. Im doing a very similar project with my rallye but with a 3.6 dsg 4x4. I have the whole donor car and I've stripped off as many bits to try and transfer them over but seeing what you're doing will make it easier for me now when I get round to doing it. Are you fitting the abs system? Are you fitting audi clocks or is the owner sticking with the mk2 clocks? I want to run the abs on mine but not sure how it would work with using mk2 reluctor rings yet. As for clocks I was thinking of running the donor cars to keep the functionality of it all with canbus system tpms etc but they don't look well fitted in the mk2 dash. Failing that I've got a digifiz to use.
Cool man nice to hear ! Hope it keeps inspiring! Yes going to use as much rs3 as possible clocks abs and lots more.
Plans is to put the full wiring loom in and thin it out with what we don’t use. Want it to be a real restomode so all modern underneath.
I am going to make from 2 clocks on have some ideas about that.
Enjoy it and feel free to ask ! 👊🏻
You will need to adapt all the steering column plastics 😅 , the key position wont be in the same place.
And what are you gona do with the door /trunk locks ? That key wont fit.
Hahah yes correct its always something and choices to be made.
All central lock with the key.
does steering wheel hit the dashboard?
No everything is running free
Mooi project 👍
Dank je wel
What car does that brake booster come from?
Everything we are using atm is from an rs3
@@NonstandardNL awesome brother its truly an awesome one of a kind build 👊
Thank you so much ! It made some crazy steps because the rallye came with no parts and the engine with lots so the approach is different and thats gives some challenges 😎
Russia is watching!
Yess nice 👍🏻
