I thought 4 fire bombards was meta once you get the aim down it's massive dmg, the brig holds 5 furniture i use blue reload and 4 bombard dmg upgrades. Also once you get a good eye for incoming dmg bracing makes you super tanky, bracing while you ram is pretty huge the enemy always goes for a nuke atleast in pvp.
Nahhh bombards are perfect even in the back. I use a sniper in the front for sails then I use my side bombards to unleash hell on them and if my rear is facing you well you get bombarded as well.
I use basilisk instead of zamzama very similar but culverin, for front I use tearing culverin V, yes 1/3 less range than balista, but I decided to not have more than 2 types of weapons(not counting auxilary), on my stern I have mong meg(or how it is called) bombard which has piercing, structure dmg and siege dmg bonus. Auxilary ofcourse leopold. So basicly my build is based on culverin and piercing dmg, fighting 300-600m from enemy(can go close range too), but keeping those 300+ I think it is range where Snow's tank perk excel, you have enough space around you, to se what is coming, time your brace well just to negate landing shots, while you hit weakspots with your basilisk, tear down masts with tearing culverin and obliterate anything in further range with leopold + you can help with your bombards during sieges(btw full salvo Basilisk II to tower does 17k+ dmg on avarage on T10 tower) honestly cant wait to get enough helm money to get Basilisk III plan Honestly I dont know why ppl hate culverines, with demis you need to be close, so when you do convoy raids which for me are mostly during storm you are screwed by waves, with bombards you often overshoot trying to not hit wave, but with culverin you just shoot sails/mast, stun your enemy, send him hello from leopold and than come on top of wave to nicely send him to fish with your pinpoint accuracy with Basilisk on weakspots and crew attack, realy it feels like culverines/basilisk were made for snow. Demi/Zamzama makes sense with Brig, you close range taran enemy, flood him, burn him with zamzama, immediately getting crew action, while bombard is certainly for padawang/bombardier who has bonus to range and bombard damage, while sambog should be fire specialist so again zamzama or other fire element weapon(not flametrhrower, that thing will make you dead more than others) btw sorry for such long message and for my english, which can be little bad in some words, but hope you understand
I have the Twin-winch ballista on the bow weapon. It absolutely hammers the forts for 11-15k dmg on the weak points. An additional bonus it can/will stun the forts/towers in 2-5 full draw hits. Against ships, depending on their level and where the bolt lands, sails can be torn in 2-4 direct hits on the masts. The loadout I have on the snow is the twin, fire bombard III (x2), long nines, and the fire mortar, so far I have used it against the fort north of the second den and the fort to the south east of the first den. The stun effect is very powerful as the mortar and bombards can add some too
one thing i would add to increase survivability is to use the repair kit 1's 20 second cooldown to complement the Royal Custodian's perk of 12 seconds of 35% more armor
Use the basilisk 3 it's got raider 50% more crew attack and has piercing which does 75% my more damage to weak points then add culverin works 1 adds 19% to status effects so you'll be constantly doing musket shots

That ship becomes unsinkable with it. Even crew attacks in pvp don't do much damage.
Just wait till you have max level everything on the ship. Then every time you shoot is another crew attack if not outright doing more dps to players in dps ships because your brace strength is practically able to tank 3 entire volleys of anything.

If you think like a spanish galleon, then one reason could be that you wouldnt be able to see shit in first person :p Just a guess though, would love a proper spanish looking galleon.
My bombards says otherwise lol sure we only have three top guns but still those three bombards make up for that loss plus knowing how to actually use the ship. I wont tell anyone my build but lets just say i dont care about brigantines speed. I will say this i dont use the ballistas. However the season 1 trailer if im correct and seen the video correctly it showed us a new ship in fact it has three masts which strongly means a galleon! Which galleons have three or more masts. But anyways im really excited for it all thats fir sure. And my ship has definitely earned its name Queens Revenge.
That little bitty ship that looks like a canoe with a sail on it that 2 shot kills any ship in the game and moves at mach speed doesn't belong in this game. It's so unrealistic to begin with. It kills this ship easily also.
For all the talk about how tanky the Snow is... you didn't even show off the tanking. You also took on 4 or 5 ships, sure... but they were also only level 8 compared to your 10. Why not show some PvP gameplay to highlight how effective it is, since the enemy will be stronger?
@@SkippyChuck I just put scurlocks long nines on the front to shoot masts on the brigs. Once they break, they are immobilized, as well as instantly take an extra 7k damage from the perk. Plus, the snow can tank 3 volleys of bombards before the bracing stamina depletes, but they never get a chance since the armor recharges faster than you can shoot. Multiple 1v3 situations with fire and bombard brigs without ever being sunk while out dpsing them
Because I only ever face 1 ship in PvP, barely anyone joins the events so 4 or 5 level 8 ships all attacking at the same time is better to show than 1 PvP brig that runs away
You're naive if you think studios don't have people who are paid to watch UA-cam to find out what people are saying is OP. Same as the ones watching the Forums and Reddit.
This is a Ubisoft game, they will rebalance everything over time regardless of what people say in videos. The brig will probably be first to be balanced because I have a feeling there are thousands of people reporting it due to the speed and players running away instead of fighting
Hey mate, they recently removed the Rogues that were plaguing the seas when Kingpins just drove by them and didn't sink them. Might be worth a shot to give it another go.
Im always helping people when asked, kinda hard cuz the in game chat doesn't work. I've helped my one buddy get to level 11 ships, I've helped others to obtain things they needed from the Ubi discord. Just haven't found the right people.
.....came here to see a pvp build. you dont even have legendary or level 3 equipment. I'm pretty sure my brig with twin ballista, fire long gun 3, leopold 3, meg 3, and bastillion armor, might could take you.
snow can brace all your damage, recharge before you reload and brace again, while destroying your mast, stuning you and then finish you through crew stuns and regular volleys. Brig is good as DPS yes, it can do lot of damage cuz it can have 1 more bombard(if you run stupid meta) per broadside, but it works only if you can destroy your target faster than they start to hitting you, against no brain dead snow player 1v1 could be hard to do, also why most sane brig players choose to run with objective, than to 1v1 snow
And we not talking about the Iron Capstan? i like that you wanna do different guides and builds but ''this is the way to go'' seems just as boring as the other dude saying there is only one way to play this game no offense but ya guys gotta stop saying ''this is the build''
I’m not saying “this is the build”, I just put my ships together and share them with people. i would recommend Torpedoes here, in PvE against really beefy enemies your Leopold mortar some times don t trigger Flooding fully so after your pass you can give him a smack with rear weapon Torps to trigger flooding to have both dots aktive and in PvP Torpedoes + Leopold nearly keep up flooding constantly, which lets you aktually run away from Brigs if you turn against the wind because she looses 10% of her maximum speed ( about 2 knots) and straight against the wind where the brig also only does 9 knots you would suddenly pull away by 2 knots after slow application :3
for the Furniture choices i would advise you too continue using Scrapper station but also take the Crew attack charge + 10% one and finish up with Balista and demi canon Elemental damage or Balista elemental and 10% enhanced damage to ablaze Targets
:3 reason beeing your enhanced 5% max HP is worth nothing because one extra Crew attack would heal you more than triple the amount gained so crew attack charge rate is better
i am not entirely against the healing of 1% of severe Damage but the problem is it applies only out of combat, where you could just dock and repair for a few silver. you are better off finishing fights earlier than with higher Damage OR higher stamina regeneration so you don t burn through stamina foods so quickly and don t loose extended fights because of resources running out :3

I have the blue specter flamethrower is it a better choice than the ballista?
@@dougwaldo8262 try it out, see how you like it
I still prefer the brigantine for cutthroat and delivery missions
I love the snow its a beaut ship
5: 30 your ship got sunk haha
Why do you have of the most of them only the one en not for example the III
I wonder why they chose not to have ships with the traditional raised helm?
I have no idea
If you think like a spanish galleon, then one reason could be that you wouldnt be able to see shit in first person :p
Just a guess though, would love a proper spanish looking galleon.
@@thatdude1435 whatever ridgeways pride was. I can’t play in first person anyway it’s like you are playing with blinders on.
@@Born2Game maybe they will be coming. I can’t imagine that we’ve reached the pinnacle after less than a week.
@@aceplaysgamesnetwork9566 Season 2 and 3 both say they'll be releasing new ships on the roadmap.
I have that Ballista and I can't hit anything with it from range, doesn't matter how much I elevate it 😂
Brig with leaopold 3, firebombard 3 all around, Royal castodian, 4 lvl 11 ships is dead before they turn to fight back😎👌
Sambuk does that a LOT better than the brig, downside is the speed.
I haven’t been able to get a royal custodian
The snow is a no go for pvp, you will get out ranged and never catch up
i do that with a brig lmao. take a fleet on and kill em way faster too
My bombards says otherwise lol sure we only have three top guns but still those three bombards make up for that loss plus knowing how to actually use the ship.
Did you stole my zamzama III?
No, I found my own
Builds gonna get messed up by sails tearing build easy
It has enough survivability for that to not be a problem
Ozzy, is that you?
For all the talk about how tanky the Snow is... you didn't even show off the tanking.
You also took on 4 or 5 ships, sure... but they were also only level 8 compared to your 10.
Why not show some PvP gameplay to highlight how effective it is, since the enemy will be stronger?
Yeah, do pvp where you either run into a brig who runs the whole time or a brig spamming bombard instantly sinking you
@@SkippyChuck I just put scurlocks long nines on the front to shoot masts on the brigs. Once they break, they are immobilized, as well as instantly take an extra 7k damage from the perk. Plus, the snow can tank 3 volleys of bombards before the bracing stamina depletes, but they never get a chance since the armor recharges faster than you can shoot. Multiple 1v3 situations with fire and bombard brigs without ever being sunk while out dpsing them
@@SomehowUnsurprising I prefer the tearing ballista it has way longer range and tears pretty good too
Because I only ever face 1 ship in PvP, barely anyone joins the events so 4 or 5 level 8 ships all attacking at the same time is better to show than 1 PvP brig that runs away
No its not. Don't start saying crap like that and then the developers start nerfing everything and ruin the game!
You made the mistake of assuming these developers are listening.
🤣@@Mjolonir12
@@Mjolonir12 they are. Well for now atleast 😅
That is a nice build. but i dont believe it is going to work for pvp )
It’s been fine for me in PvP so far 👍
I destroyed the barque a time or two 😂
its fun until i use brig and run away and bombard you from a distance xD
I’ll brace all the bombard damage with the snow but I’ll see you later with your speed in the brig 🤣
Saddly gave up on this game I get destroyed every time
Hey mate, they recently removed the Rogues that were plaguing the seas when Kingpins just drove by them and didn't sink them. Might be worth a shot to give it another go.
Not just roughs just can't LVL up the ship no more to grindy
@@IrishCloverGaming i mean, its an MMO, its gonna be grindy
Yea but the stuff U need U can't get unless U got help no one is interested in joining Ur group so it's pointless
10 kn sheeeesh
This is the biggest ship in the game? Lame... I find the game enjoyable but I want bmy big pirate boat!
They’re not the absolute best in slot builds and I don’t claim they are but they’re very powerful builds that I enjoy and if people are stuck with what to equip on their ship then these videos will help them
Not bad but is nowhere near unstoppable
Terrible build
Thank you 👍
Assassin Creed Black Flag (2014) looks better and has even better gameplay then this shit!
Quit comparing that game to this game, and if you think this is shit then go play black flag, which I really enjoyed btw but also really enjoy this game
cool
