Slight spoiler (if you haven’t seen the trailer).
Yup I already watched it. I loved some elements (the acting, the color work, the cinematography), but I was disappointed that they used stupidity as a plot devise and violence for shock value. I don’t mind it in AHS bc the show is kind of tongue and cheek at times and some of the violence can be almost comical. But it didn’t fit here. Like the dr would never have used an actual ice pick. Doctors have an instrument much slimmer they would use to labatomize. Things like that discredit it just enough that it’s a little silly. Yet the tone of the show is not silly at all. Anyway I was sooo excited for it since one flew over the coockoos nest is such a great book/movie, but I was disappointed that Ryan Murphy went for shock over great story telling.

It kept throwing curve balls at us from start to finish, and I really sympathized with Margaret Ratched. I hope that by the time the show reaches the Cuckoo's Nest period of her life, they'll continue to present her in a semi-sympathetic light.

Sara sat next to me at a small cinema in LA where The Queen was playing. She was drunk and would do all these weird movements and faces and it was hilarious (we were about ten people or maybe less at the movie) She wasnt nearly as famous as she is now but i knew her from Jack and Jill and loved her and it was amzing sitting next to her specially since the actual movie was a total bore.
