AlpenFury POV - Canada's Wonderland's New 2025 Roller Coaster!

- Canada’s longest, tallest, fastest launch coaster coming in 2025
When fire and ice meet inside the mysterious Wonder Mountain, the force will propel you into a thrilling journey beginning with a launch that blasts your train vertical through the mountain summit, 50 metres into the sky. You’ll race across tracks that span the park, reaching speeds of 115 km/h, flipping and twisting through nine breathtaking inversions. This is AlpenFury, Canada’s longest, tallest and fastest launch coaster. Are you brave enough to face nature’s wrath?
The villagers at the base of Wonder Mountain closed the climbing trails decades ago, after tales began to spread that it had become home to beasts and mystical forces. One legend holds that at the mountain’s core, fire and ice come together in their most raw, elemental states to create a powerful natural force that is both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The story has become so engrained in local culture that the Alpen village now celebrates this mythical union with its own fire and ice festival every year.
As a visitor, you’re fortunate to find yourself in the village during the height of the festival. It’s a jubilant and colourful celebration. Those brave enough are invited to visit the sled haus where a sleek, modern sled awaits, outfitted for a journey through the very heart of Wonder Mountain and beyond. The temptation for adventure overcomes any trepidation you feel about facing the forces within. You board the sled and buckle in before being launched into the journey of a lifetime.

SIX FLAGS FINALLY GAVE US THE SECOND HALF OF FULL THROTTLE
This comment is underrated
Maxx Force and Full Throttle combined would have been a great coaster
@@CaptureKing247 no lies detected. I feel like this coaster kinda is that
I love your vids
@@ducksfan_1149 thank you
This blew my expectations away! 71mph, 164ft, NINE inversions! I’m hype! My last visit to Canada’s Wonderland was before Yukon was added so I need to get back here!
Yukon is incredible, front row is worth it
Yukon is a fun ride 2
Looks like Premier found Mack Rides’ cocaine stash
Fr lol
they definitely on some shii this time around🤣 Sick coaster
Real lmao
This feels more intamin than it does mack
@@NathanHydra I agree; I meant it more in the sense that Mack has been producing some WILD rides lately, and this is a VERY different Premier than we’re used to seeing!
The RCT scream noises!! Lmao!
They are all played in a row without none connect to coaster pov is even more hilarious 🎉
Vortex trains are about 35 seconds apart on this video- block violation for sure.
What's a block violation?
@rolling_coasters Since you seem unfamiliar with the channel, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.
So a block zone violation means that a train has adavnced into a block zone that already had a train in it, so two trains in a block zone when there should be only one. Hope that helps :)
I seem to recall Yukon Striker's animated POV also having this issue.
The video also made the mistake of showing Wonder Mountain's Guardian actually operating.
That launch is awesome, even without the fireball
Premier really went hard with this layout, looks like a Mack with the pacing of an Intamin. If it runs like the animated POV it'll no doubt be the best Premier coaster. Im curious to see what they do with the restraints here though. I personally dont hate the Skyrocket lap bars or even the comfort collars, but I think its fair to say that they are one of if not the worst class 5 lapbars on the market currently. I would like to see Premier give us something a little bit more open and easier on the legs.
It won't have comfort collars. It's been confirmed
That's a Premier coaster? I was convinced it was an Intamin while I was watching the video. That looks absolutely sick.
I thought zamperla until the trains
Yeah I thought the same thing at first and then I remembered that CW is a Cedar Fair park and CF will likely never buy another new ride from Intamin again lol. But yeah, it's cool to see other manufacturers starting to match Intamin and RMC ride pacing.
@@troysweet4038 i mean, it’s six flags now🤷♂️
@@Fvistugdsggratugfhtrue, but the ride would have been ordered at least 1-2 years ago before the merger was finalized. Plus it sounds like CF will be largely "calling the shots" moving forward, so I still don't expect to see any new Intamins at any of their parks in the foreseeable future. Unless SF already has others on order beyond Falcon's Flight
@@troysweet4038 ye
And all with only a lapbar? Hell yes.
They're actually not using comfort collars for once! Even ice breaker used them initially
Beautiful. I love the flames that shoot out as you launch out the top of the mountain. Good pacing on the coaster
While I’m disappointed this ruins the relatively untouched mountain sight line, this ride looks INSANE. 100% gonna be one of the best coasters of 2025
It doesn’t interfere with the front of it? lol it’s fine however the colour of the tracks could be better.
@@416pp i mean specifically the top area, the other coasters that interact with it are hidden within the back and don’t impact the view from the front. I feel this is a bit overbearing on the skyline but still the ride looks insane
@@CoasterGuy95Definitely understand the point you're making about a clean skyline, but consider how much of statement Volcano was at Kings Dominion. I imagine this ride will have a similar visual impact.
I'm thinking at ground level just the tip of it will be visible from front gate, however from Striker the mountain will look like an erector set
KD: Let's do a launched coaster that will remind people of Volcano: The Blast Coaster.
CW: Hold my beer.
😂😂
It's Canada. We just down the beer.
@@cdnkartwell said
All right premier! That is the wonkiest inversion layout I may have ever seen and I’m all for it! It might not be in Doswell, but the spirit of volcano lives on.
The pacing looks absolutely cracked. Holy shit!
This is far better than Wonderland is used to receiving. It brings the entire park up several levels to actually being worth travelling to visit!
I was literally watching the one from Canadas wonderland themself and then amusement insiders put it out and then coaster studios and then less than a minute after that Ryan puts the pov out.
Looks like my favorite park is getting another amazing ride!!
The way it interacts with its own track also the tracks of the existing rides is very cool. Very RCT.
If this runs anywhere near as fast as it does in this video, then this ride is going to be absolutely INSANE
Interesting that the entrance is going to end up next to all the kiddy rides.
It's not really. It's near the wild mouse, and there's a path between that and the boomerang to the kid's area.
Short but oh so sweet. Some Iron Gwazi influence. Incredible swooping lines on this one.
This thing looks incredible, I feel like it’s been ages since we’ve seen Premiere go so hard here in the US. That being said, the view of the mountain is completely hindered by it. I’m excited to check it out!
That looks WORLD CLASS!
This Volcano replacement is looking crazy
This seems like a really good NL2 concept thats technically feasible, but this is actually gonna be real, wow.
Looks amazing, cannot watt
That looks really freaking awesome
If I had a nickel for every roller coaster in North America with Alpen in the name and with a white and light blue color scheme, I would have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice
Dude, that was exactly my thought, this is basically alpengeist’s little brother!
I cannot wait! This is such a great fit for the park! It looks amazing!
so happy seeing premier doing crazier rides this looks amazing 🗣️
This looks SO SICK! Might finally get me up to check out Canadas Wonderland
Oh now this is what kings island needs to replace vortex with but its own flare but this looks amazing
INCREDIBLE
Stunning!
great layout definitely could’ve used a few more airtime moments
Agreed, I'd cut an inversion or two for some hills
Nah they have Leviathan and Behemoth if you want airtime. The park has to have some variety ykwim?
@@wickedsickfunkyfreshroller2037real
Not having loads of airtime doesn't make it a bad ride lol, just be happy the park is building something on this scale
The rest of the park is air time
My shins are already bleeding. Please dear god Premier fix your garbage trains.
No comfort collars at least
@@briandevine8292The comfort collars aren’t even bad, it’s the god awful shin guards that destroy you legs.
They should use PTC trains so that it can fit larger people
@@DoswarePicturesI mean I fit in IceBreaker when I weighed 350lbs, it was definitely snug. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Pipeline, B&M is not fluffy friendly by any means.
@@VWJR86 if only if there was a Primier at Michigan’s Adventure. Like I definitely fit on Woodstock Express and the three wooden coasters, but not Thunderhawk’s test seat and used that deduce that I wouldn’t fit in Corkscrew. Never tried Mad Mouse.
Ironic it's called AlpenFury when Busch Gardens Williamsburg has Alpengheist with the same colors.
This looks batshit insane. Cant wait to finally visit CW next summer.
Looks great
Getting my passport ready
The RCT Screams and Ambients in the Background 💀
I'm fuming this isn't coming to Worlds of Fun. One of the coolest layouts I've seen in a long time!
Weird that Volcano 2.0 went to Canada. I'm so sorry for those in VA that don't quite think they got the better ride.
Can you discuss the capacity? I heard its 2 trains and 18 riders per train. That's not a lot...
If it's designed well it'll have up to 1000 pph which is pretty good. I used to operate a Premier which runs 2 trains of 12. It has a flawed design though because the second train gets caught up on the magnetic brakes for too long, so you're talking about up to 30 seconds between dispatching train 1 and parking train 2. Most we could get out of it was 43 dispatches per hour, and that was ideal. The average was 37-40 dispatches per hour which makes it a fairly low capacity ride. I hope this had a better brake run design though.
This is what we need at KI.
Looks fine, I will plan a Travel to Canada to see that !
Joey: he didn’t say “furry”, he said “fury”, like the kind that I have: “AlpenFury”
Seto: did you just say Alpen Furry?
Looks great! I wonder if the tunnel was influenced by Falcons flight… 🤔
Gonna be so comfortable in these trains haha… can’t imagine the wait times with only two trains!
18 person trains, minute long ride, let's say 60 dispatches per hour max (probably gonna average at 45-50). That's 1000 pph, seems fine to me.
Two trains seems like it's going a little cheap on that aspect, hopefully it'll simplify operations and make it more reliable, especially at the start.
Dang this rendering was made REALLY quick
While this looks like a stellar ride experience, I guarantee this will have horrendous wait times. Wonderland is the most crowded park in North America with the longest lines, and this looks like it will only have a capacity to move riders about half the rate that of the B&M coasters. Plus the station location is in an area that is already very crowded (The Fly and Vortex, two other low- capacity coasters). I predict that there could be a lot of chaos with the lines.
The Vortex line always moves very quickly. If people don’t want to wait as long, they can head over to Yukon Striker and Leviathan?
@highoctaneadventure I didn't say anything about people not liking the lines. In fact everyone hates the lines. Regardless, they will line up for this coaster because that's what they'll have to do to ride it, especially the first season because it's the new coaster. Assuming that the lines will overflow the station (a safe assumption given the history of new coasters at Wonderland), it's going to be interesting to see where they try to force the lineup to go. Any direction they choose, it's going to cause problems.
Probably too punishing for my body with all those inversions but it looks amazing🎉
Dang this looks great wish more parls would get multi launch coasters.
Kind of mean they give Canada's Wonderland the true Volcano replacement coaster the same year they build on Volcano's old land at King's Dominion.
Looks like an amazing ride but capacity is going to be a nightmare, especially for opening year
inverted top hat, roll, roll, roll, roll, roll, roll, roll, roll
THIS LOOKS CRAZY
This is just Expedition Everest on steroids, and since Expedition Everest is my favorite roller coaster, I might go to Canada to ride this beast in the future 👀
I don’t see comfort collars!!!!!! 🥳 🎉
Can you do an analysis video? I am concerned about this ride having a lower capacity than it should, and would like to hear if anything is possible to increase it.
Hmmm this is what Kings Dominion Volcano replacement should’ve looked like
That's quite a number of roll-inversions lmao
"GIVE ME THE TWISTS. GIVE ME ALL THE TWISTS!"
Hate those trains, but the rest is super impressive. Was not expecting this.
Wow. Just WOW
I'm in luv
Looks cool but personally I would have preferred less loops and more airtime and fast switches and turns
Are those RCT scream sound effects at the end?
It’s full throttles 2nd half…
Looks like a good #2 ride for the park behind Time Warp
☠️wilding
OMG, how do you put Time Warp ahead of Flight Deck and Taxi Jam?
@@johnboulanger807 slc moment
CANADAS WONDERLAND IS A TOP 5 park. Argue with a wall. They are no longer just top heavy. Insane line up behemoth ( best b&m hyper in the world) leviathan, Yukon Stryker ( best dive in the world), Alpen fury……vortex, list goes on….
And if they go through with that family gci witch it looks like they are it will get even better
It’s their comeback
Listen man once this is added, remove time warp and flight deck add a hyper bm inverted, rmc wildebeast and we are prob tied with cedar point
Also don’t forget best flat rides arguably in north America or even the world idk
@@TheEpicEndermanTV I would not say we would be tied with cedar point but mabye somthing like Hershey park.
I want to ride it so bad!!!! Too bad i have to wait a year and 2 months (14 months) to ride it😢
Might have to dust off the old passport. A little concerned when it comes to the line for the ride. 2 trains at 18 riders each. Theoretically the ride can get a little above 1000 riders per hour, but in real life (and real life ride operations) i dont see it getting much past their old TOGO with 960 RPH
Holy Crap
Anyone notice what appears to be an inverting treble cleft?
Desperately wishing this was anyone but premier because this goes so hard
Why it looks great
@@radicalkonrad765I’m 6’4 and can’t stand premier trains (also I think another manufacturer probably could have made a slightly less repetitive layout but I can’t complain too much)
Is that 9 inversions? Holy smokes.
2 deaths rolls is crazy
I suddenly want to get a passport
Wowwwwww!
at first when i saw this i thought how the hell do they still have room for another huge coaster did they get rid of one or something to make room for it
What kind of elements?
And hope it doesn't go down like steel curtain
I feel like Mack would’ve been a better choice but this is still good
Of course the maple syrup people make it the year AFTER I go☠️☠️☠️
In as much as I enjoy a great roller coaster, Wonderland needs to spend some money on facilities and food options as well. The washrooms aren't great and weren't clean. The place has a run down feel about it and the food options are horrible and way over priced. Normally we will bring a cooler and have a picnic outside, but last time was last minute so no time for that. Went to pizza pizza inside and it cost $150 for two pizzas garlic bread and drinks.... Seriously people?
Does anyone know if the tunnel was already there? I've never visited CW.
they constructed the tunnel for the ride.
Please don't be ruined by the skyrocket trains...
It just has lapbars
Avoid rows 3, 6, and 9 at all costs 😂😂😂
Fair

We got volcano the ice coaster before gta 6 💀
Your not funny
too bad im a minor and my parents dont take to to any parks besides bgt, universal, or sdc, let alone canada to visit one park
Oh wait maybe I was
Single use Fast Lane will be needed for this at $40 a person 😂
Guess I’m not first.
I wish this was a Mack
The logo looks a lot like Ring Racer at Nurburgring. It looks like this ride is a reincarnation of that ride, considering it's been abandoned for nearly 11 years now.
Lmfao it looks like volcano part 2
WHAT IS THIS AI thats crazy tbh
who gave the no limits 2 player a job
Just a boneheaded decision to put such a low capacity coaster in the busiest seasonal theme park in North America.
Oh yeah. This is gonna be as good as steel curtain. Can’t wait!
much better
