Well good luck with continuing the game because it only get harder. Don't feel bad about using the azure dragon crescent glaive, you'll really be needing it later on.
Costumes are just that, costumes. They are purely cosmetic with all gear being in the equipment section. It about what's on the inside that counts LOL. I will say that this is more of a traditional Souls-like, but it's more similar to Bloodborne than Dark-Souls. You eventually will unlock a grappling hook and that allows you to latch on to enemies and bring them to you for a quick attack; really useful when dealing with the rooftops. If you're looking for more Souls-likes like this, I'd definitely recommend Bloodborne, though I understand that it's stuck on PS4 so that kinda goes against the whole "Refund Window" branding you're going for. Bloodborne PSX is also a really good de-make of Bloodborne on PC and is completely free if you wanted to give the game a try before jumping into the full one.
You’re right, Lies of P is a lil different from the traditional souls-like formula. Like you said, Lies of P heavily encourages parrying and perfect blocks, even rewarding you with some life regain. In some instances it’s almost required to execute these tactics while in most souls game, you don’t have as much inclination or reward for doing so.
@@YoungsterJoey151 Thanks! I almost had him at my second go, but almost doesn't count! I'm really loving this genre of game - SO glad I started checking them out!
@@whamcogames Yeah they’re super addictive once you get a good feel for them! The adrenaline rush when you finally beat a boss you’ve been struggling on is like no other!
An Amazing game that should be hyped up way more than it is. For being the studios first attempt at this genre they nailed it. Good luck it gets very difficult late game!
@@whamcogames shock is super annoying but their attacks are super telegraphed. Just be super patient and hit their legs when they get done attacking. Well worth the kill tho.
I’m 71 hours into this game on the optional final boss. It’s a fantastic story and if I didn’t need to finally beat Elden Ring before the dlc comes out, I’d seriously consider doing New Game Plus right now. The belle epoch aesthetic, the soundtrack, and the lore make this game truly unique. In my opinion, it’s the first soulslike to actually be on par with FromSoftware’s games. You’re going to really enjoy this game.
If you want souls like, I would recommend "sekiro, shadows die twice" It is from the makers of dark souls and belongs into the pool of Dark souls / Demon Souls / Bloodborne and Sekiro The difference is, that Sekiro has a rythmic fighting style. Its quite challangeing but once it clicks its like a dancing game. Rythmic, but it will take a few hours to get that click. Otherwise I can recommend "Nioh 2" and if you want to start with the souls series, Dark souls 3 was my entry and is by far the most forgiving but with the best boss designs in my oppinion.
I have never seen a video with "No views" on it before... and it's 10 minutes old no less!
Usually takes a couple days, I'm usually the first lol!

It's come in handy a few times for sure! Love it! Thanks for the heads up I appreciate you!

Also good job taking down Parade Master in 6! His timings can be really wonky.
