I think the line "thanks to you bled me dry but I'm just living up" shows this and means they're moving on now. I think that's why the phone breaks too at the end when they flat line and turn full zombie because they're finally done being attached. And why the phone says ex on the screen. Idk if any of that is actually right but just my interpretation.
