Hi, I've never journalled, but I really want to start. I just found your channel today and am enjoying your videos and your beautiful accent. I was trying to understand the "junk journal" concept and thought it would work well for me. Anyway, your journaling style is lovely. ❤❤
Hi Katherine, thank you so much! To me a junk journal is a place for anything and everything. A sort of one stop shop for adventures, memories, thoughts, whatever the size. I really like that I now have a place where I can stick down random pieces of paper (business cards, book marks, receipts) that I find when I am out and about, newspaper and magazine clippings that inspire me, journal about a special moment and add some stickers and doodles, etc.. Anything goes so I feel free and creative, but the size of the pages and the fact that I have a dedicated place for it, limits me in a good way because it gives me the borders within where I can be free. If that makes sense 😄 I know that every time I add something new, I am building on a collection of moments and that is really valuable for me 🥰 Hope this helps! Otherwise please let me know! 🧡
@LizzuPlans the day I made this comment, I had enough motivation from your journal to start my first one. I also never thought of using a notebook as an option for pictures and things (not sure why I always limit myself like that lol ) so I got a notebook and started with my daughter's ultrasound pictures and and I used your ideas and I started cutting up this from the hospital that I otherwise would have never thought could be something to use. So far, I'm just so happy with it and so pleased you helped me find a way to save all the things from my children's lives that I would have never thought could go in a notebook journal. So, thank you so much. 😊
