- For sale in our Chicago Showroom, This 1982 Lincoln Mark VI Signature Sedan is ready for the road and sure to turn some heads. Not only is this car a real creampuff but it is one of the more fully equipped ’82 Lincolns around. This Mark VI is powered by the ever popular and beloved 5.0 Liter V8 backed by a 4-Speed Automatic transmission. Options on this vehicle include power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, keyless entry, electric factory sunroof, leather seating, digital dash readout and a Dolby AM/FM Stereo with cassette player. As Lincolns Flagship Line, the Mark VI had options that were not available on the Town Car and sported vacuum-operated flip-up headlamps, oval opera windows on the c-pillars, a raised “bustleback” trunklid and slightly different grille.
By 1982 Ford was at the top of their game with the Lincoln Line and The Mark VI was one of the first cars seen with several features commonly seen today; it came with pushbutton keyless entry, digital instrumentation (VFD), and trip computer. Also, it was the first year for the EEC III engine management system which kept fuel economy high and emissions low, an industry first. This vehicle spent it’s days being garaged in sunny California and is verified by AutoCheck as a 1 owner vehicle scoring an above average 52 Points. This Lincoln has just received a new Tune Up, Fuel Pump and headliner and is now ready to hit the road and float you around in style.

Had the privilege of owning a used signature series, back when I was a teenager… fawn gold, 2 toned. Handled like a dream, although parts were getting harder to come by. Too bad I slid on a patch of ice and hit a guardrail. Probably would still have been ok, but then a 2 door Mark VII slid on the ice going the other way, and wrecked the other side of the car🫣

MY 1980 FULLY OPTIONED TOWN COUPE WAS AN AWESOME CAR. 351 W WITH THE COMPUTER CONTROLLED VV CARBURETOR. GREAT POWER AND FUEL ECONOMY. 0 TO 40MPH WAS INSTANTANEOUS. I BLEW AWAY IROC Z'S TO 50MPH. 82 WENT TO THE 302. IT SUCKED. NOT MUCH FOR POWER.
