I'm not normally suspicious, but the wife told me yesterday that Gavin from Autoglass came round and injected his special resin into her crack. She hasn't even got a car.
They don’t make adverts like this anymore. It’s shocking how the standard has dropped. This country has lost ALL its industry. Take me back to 1994. I don’t know why but I just know things were better then. I’m going to sing the auto glass tune now. Still makes me smile thirteen years later. Raise a glass to British windows.
Hes an actual auto glass technician from Birmingham. They had auditions for the role within the company. It was filmed in Belgium. I know his because Ive just had my windscreen replaced lol
Omg we have this brand in France too and we heard this slogan so much, "Carglass répare, Carglass remplace !" I didn't even know it existed in english lol
@qwertzuiopli- it is named Carglass in Germany because Autoglass is a UK only company trading under the Belron International Group. Under the Belron Group is Autoglass, Carglass, Safelitte, Bardon etc.
That jingle suddenly popped into my head, but i couldn't remember the second word, I knew it was autosomething repair, autosomething replace. I hate it when shit like this happens, it's like the ducktales them, you think it's gone from your memory and upon hearing the first few notes, you're singing along.
Commercial comes on in America just like this one with the same jingle, just says "Safe Glass repair, Safe Glass replace" or something. And I thought of this one.
Hi internet, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but I have a friend who thinks they are experiencing a memory from an alternative history. In said histroy, the Auto Glass jingle went "Auto Glass Repair, Auto Glass Replace-ment" The "-ment" part forming an extra closing syllable. Is there anyone else experiencing this Mandela Effect?
