- Hello, out to try a seriously steep climb on a 750w hub drive ebike! Bone stock Cyrusher Trax ebike tries to climb straight up North Table Mountain in Golden Colorado!

Even out of the box this bike is very impressive ! i'm impressed with these Cyrusher e-bikes ,they seem to know what people want in the market and i believe that the saying 'You get what you pay for' is very true :) Sure there are cheaper e-bikes out there ,but i bet they won't last as long as one of these e-bikes ! let alone perform as good ha! Best to pay the extra money and get quality like Cyrusher :)
Hello, you are absolutely right that your first ebike purchase should be a mid - upper priced bike and not the cheapest ebike you can find. If you buy one of the ultra cheap bikes to see if you like ebiking, odds are that you will be soured by the cheap construction, bad batteries, low performance. Just spend a little more and get a bike that will actually do what you want it to do. I personally don't care what make / model of bike anyone gets, it just makes me sad when when the whole experience is ruined by a crappy 1st bike. Cheers
Totally Agree with this :) Well i remember when i first heard about e-bikes ,and i did a search on the net ,and strangely the first company i came across was Cyrusher ,and at the time their Flagship bike was the 900 ,and i just thought it was awesome ! So ever since that i kind of look at other mid -upper e-bikes as a match to Cyrusher ,because i think they seem to know what customers want in the market without going down the cheap parts and massive silly batteries which have no make ! It's finally here the Rangers gen.3 high speed controller with rear light pig tail has cleared customs in Chicago and on its way to me! How lucky am I ???😊😊😊

Is there enough room to install a gear kit with more gears (10 or 12)
Hello, yes you could swap it out for a 10 spd drive but I find that more gears aren't the answer, you just need the correct gear range for the type of riding you are doing. The stock gearing on this bike is perfect if you want to pedal down hill at 35mph and not "spin out". My Ranger with the lower gearing is a great climber but the gearing is only effective for pedaling in the 0-24 mph range. Cheers

On full without the restriction it reaches exactly 45/46 km /h (so 28 mph) . Size is ok for me, I'm 5,94.
I changed pedals for best grip ( carbon with 3 bearings on West Biking), same frame/battery protection WB too, thanks 👍
For the price, i find than the fork should be better, front brake largeur too, and a rear lamp.
On mine there was no plastic cover to remove on display so little scratches on brand new, and a paint defect on frame badly covered with a touch of "another" green, with a touch of brush...
I think that i will change for the same fork as you, thanks for testing all these modifications.
Finaly, if i put a 44/46 T plate, how much the Vmax will decrease on flat road ?

@@YANT20 Hello and greetings from the US! I'm glad you found my videos useful when making your decision. I've ridden a bunch of ebikes and my Ranger with modifications is my favorite by far. I'll be posting a new video on the Ranger in the coming week, some more mods coming! Sorry to hear that you received a bike with some bad paint touch ups. I'd suggest you contact Cyrusher about that and see what they can do. With the plastic off the screen I'd suggest you ask for an exchange, sounds like that bike had been out of the box somewhere between the factory and you. You paid for a brand new undamaged bike and that's what you should get. Cyrusher customer service has always done right by me so I think they'll take care of it. The 46T ring swap allows you to still pedal comfortably at 30 mph. I do sometimes miss being able to pedal to 44mph on the downhills, like I could do with the stock gearing, but the improved climbing ability is what I was really after. Ride safe!

Yet, distance on display was only 0,372 mile... I'm with the after sales service, they propose change for display and send me a little green paint box for the frame...

Nice.. so did you leave it on PAS 4 to get up that hill or did you have to go to PAS 5 to get to the top? And how did it compare to the Nitro doing that climb? Thanks.
Hello, with the stock gearing I went to pedal assist 5 to get up that hill. If I had the 46t front ring that I have on my Ranger I could have done it more comfortably and in pas 4. Cheers
The $500, 1,000w bafang DIY hub kit will destroy that climb in pedal assist level #2.

@@lifebehindbarz60 I wish I did, maybe I'll have to take a road trip. I think it has a lot to do with the motor wind, . I got it off that website that begins with the letter A, if I write the full name UA-cam will censor the comment. It's a pretty good kit, tops at 31 mph 30amp controller, the only downside is it slows down a bit if your real hard on it , think it's a safety feature.

Do you have a video that you explain what you carry in your "fanny" pack and why you don't have fenders or a cargo rack on your bikes?
Hi Rick, I do not have a video on that subject but maybe I should make one. I just ordered a rear rack for the Ranger so I can carry some equipment and an extra battery in the back country. I'm looking forward to doubling my range with the extra battery. Fenders are definitely something I will have for next winter on my Ranger, the Nitro doesn't have lugs for the rear rack or fenders.
J'ai reçu mon Nitro aujourd'hui, et mauvaise surprise au montage; il y a du jeux dans la colonne de direction, l'aluminium du cadre et déformé sur la partie inférieure de la colonne (juste dans l'angle du cadre et de la fourche) comme si le roulement à billes avait été introduit en force. 🤬
Hello, very sorry to hear, you should take pictures of the issue and send them to Cyrusher customer service right away. They always ask for pictures first when I have a problem. Please let me and others know how this is fixed and what you think of the customer service.
