Strapping it up with the packing was a good move. I've had a few things jump off the lathe but never disintegrating like that - it must be a bit of a heart-stopper! Okay, further up and further in!
Thanks Ruby. I'm not sure yet if this will work out. It could, but that slight error in my tablesaw setup might make this blank impossible to finish (not sure yet).
Thanks Linda. You are right. I wanted to buy a scraper today, but never got time to go to the store. Heat however can make it more difficult to remove sometimes.

Took me a minute, but I see what you did there, nice job Mike!
Thanks Ray. This one is a lot of effort, I hope it will be worth it.

Man you are going to get me turning if you keep this up 🖖
Thanks Al. Lot of work going into this, so I hope it works out in the end.
@@danceswithaardvarks3284 good luck, cant wait to see it
Mike just a thought a card scraper for that glue, if not a hair dryer for a short bit of time will soften it up and it will peel off more readily

@ that’s true it’s a fine line. I just hate the struggle with that stuff.
You have ideas.... 😎
