Squad 44 is such an immersive game that really makes you feel like a soldier in WW2. The SFX and VFX are some of the coolest I've seen! Unfortunately, my mic didn't record in this game, but the action was still awesome, so I wanted to share it anyway!

I've been loving this game lately. The devs are doing good work to revitalize what was Post Scriptum. The only thing that bugs me is that team work and squad play seems much less stressed than in like Squad. I really with there was a way that there could be more defined front lines or attack/defend objectives. Seeing singular soldiers everywhere on their own makes me sad
I think it depends on server and squad because I was playing a minute ago and everybody was all together
I wish they would reduce the map sizes or make a game mode that does. That would force engagement more often and make players stick together more.
A game mode like territories in red orchestra 2.
leave the squad, and find a talkative SL

I think the game needs a solid tutorial for the different roles you play and more player feedback to indicate that teamwork is good. One issue that bugs me is that when you are down you cannot alert your teammates that you need a medic.
LOVE that it is FINALLY getting the roses it deserves!
Believe or not, but my best memories of the game were within the first few years...
Back when the primary game mode was Advance and Secure, sure, offensive is a more consistent (better) experience, but how dynamic AAS was made for awesome organic encounters and engagements... its hard to explain, but once they get to 100 players, I HOPE AAS-RAAS comes back into rotation.
I've yet to experience anything like it in gaming and I certainly long for it!

Yes. The only thing that really bugs me is that the community really insists in playing the same game mode on the same 3 maps over and over again whilest ignorieng 90% of the other content the game has to offer. I would love some AAS and RAAS, even Armoured from time to time.
I have started my transition into Squad44. HLL is pretty much kaput for me. Starting out in Squad44 I am absolutely useless, but I remember what HLL was like when I started out, so I will persist.

Was it a fake soul sniper I was playing with? I swear I played with a soul sniper on the ramagen map today.
In HLL? I haven't played Remagen for quite some time so maybe it was someone else.
I’m wanting to switch to this from HLL on console but I need a PC…. What setup are you using? I’m thinking of something with at least a 4070 for future games as well.
is there any game that has this pc keybinding freedom and buildings that destroy + planes you can fly? I really want a combo of Hell Let Loose and Battlefield 1
Honestly, if they remove the suppression and water drinking mechanism, maybe add a little more grit to uniforms and environment, HLL players will cross over. Too many unnecessary mil sim mechanics. Great game. Good sound. They need to just fix those few things and people will drop HLL, we already in progress anyways. So, don't sleep on it S44 devs, make this accessible and fun, sort of like HLL but better.
So HLL is not worth playing? I am considering to buy HLL but after reading this, idk still clueless what to do :)
the whole point of squad 44 is to be a hardcore milsim WW2 experience, youre asking them to change the core idea of the game to pander to a more arcade and casual fanbase? IT sounds like you just want another HLL like game, why not just keep playing that? If a more hardcore squad based game isnt for you then dont try and change it.

@@CaPshenanagains125 yeah so my map alternate is bound to mouse button 2 and I can't wipe it from MB2. Main keys all good but alternate will not change for me.
@chippy2986 have you tried resetting all cashed data? It resets all the bindings and might fix it

Too many slow quiet moments in this game. Seems like lots of 1 on 1 firefights.

I think it does. To me if HLL is Saving Private Ryan, then Squad 44 is Band of Brothers. They're both incredible, but one is more Hollywood and the other is more realism.
