Another interesting review of old vs. new, with the new - gasp! - winning this time around. I share your interest in pens with different and/or unusual mechanisms. It seems so many people today bitch about caps that require more than one and one-quarter turns to uncap, and anything else about a fountain pen that doesn't make it almost immediately ready to use. To me fountain pens have a distinctly pleasurable element of vintage living in the modern world. Fountain pens are a choice today, not a requirement. At the same time I appreciate many of the modern improvements in reliability and usefulness. However, things like the capless mechanism of a Lamy Dialog 3, a newer twist (literally!) on the much older safety or retractable nib pen, make me enjoy using them all the more. I recently purchased a Montblanc Boheme fountain pen with a retractable nib and a unique cartridge insertion and removal mechanism. Montblanc discontinued the Boheme line, but the sheer ingenuity and smooth, flawless operation of its mechanisms always makes me smile in appreciation.
Where can you find the vintage pilot Justus 95 at because I looked on eBay and they had one but it was medium point could you tell me where I can get this vintage pen in fine point at
You’re probably right. The only reason I didn’t do it is because it wasn’t my pen- and I’ve heard of the same issue being present on almost every example of the vintage Justus I’ve seen, so I thought it fair to make that known to people.
Vintage pen seemingly has a bigger range between hard and soft. Theoretically at some mid point the old pen could match the hardness of the new one. This also means that the vintage one will tolerate cheap feathering paper better. By watching this review, I'd call the vintage pen the winner.

Very interesting! Thank you🥰
Good video, nice !
I think the vintage one needed a nib, flow tunning and then to properly compare..
