I have a list that has over 100 places and points of interest on it. Narrowing things down is going to be tricky. Évora, Tomar and Sintra for sure. I would love to visit the Conímbriga Ruins and Coimbra but maybe not this time. The Batalha monastery is another place I would love to see. I want to spent time in Lisbon itself. I don't want to rush and try to fit too much into one trip so I will be planning more than one. 😊

@@POVTours Outside of the alphabetical order I watched one of the Lisbon videos where you show the city wall, and I was also really into it. Usually with walking tours I get bored after a while but yours are engaging until the end!

Rojões normalmente acompanha com batata, seja assada, frita... Por vezes além da batata tambem se junta castanhas. Não é comida pra quem está de dieta! 😋 Arroz também é uma opção, em vez de batata, mas é menos comum e menos tradicional.

Agueda, cidade dos meus bisavós. Minha bisavó me contava sua vida na Freguesia da Trofa de Agueda. Ela veio para o Brasil com 10 anos . E aqui, casou com um portugues de Segadaes ,freguesia vizinha. Estive em Agueda em agosto de 2013 e curti os guarda-chuvas coloridos. Agueda é cidade irma de Rio Grande, sul do Brasil, cidade onde nasci.
Tem uma grande história familiar ligada a esta pitoresca cidade, e a coincidência de ter nascido na cidade irmã de Águeda no Brasil. 😊❤️

da fábrica de guarda chuvas se deu bem. Em Portugal andando pela nossa cidade, vila ou aldeia, achamos a mesma e-
norme, mas só vamos ter noção de tamanho ao sairmos e ir para outro lugar, foi o meu caso, qdo. me deparei com a ci-
dade do RJ. Mas a cidade é muito pitoresca e boa de passear, plana e com ruas largas e varios cafés e bares. Abçs e

Sim, as cidades portuguesas são bem pequenas comparadas com megalópoles de muitos milhões de habitantes como RJ e SP .

Another enjoyable video-walk of a very walkable city. Thank you, Miguel. The “Umbrella Project” has converted Agueda into a “come rain or come shine” place. The design of the city is amazing. Old and modern architecture blend together, not only in design that flows between exterior walls, but in the systemic height of the buildings, which I suspect is a result of a grassroots effort that became a city ordinance. Like so many other Portuguese cities, Agueda is full turning-of-corners from which arise beautiful views worthy of picture-framing. All of that said, do you know if during the “AguitAgueda” festival “Impactplan” has ever placed a papier-mâché figurine gazing out at the surrounding views while sitting on the swing that is next to the cross (minute 27:00 of the video)? It would look great. Last but not least, the “wall art” at minute 33:35 reminded me of one of those “What do you see?” inkblots used in psychology tests in which what seems obvious to some holds obscure meaning for others.

While I was filming, when I saw that wall art at 33:35 I thought it represented university students, because their black clothes remind me of the traditional university attire in Portugal, a tradition that started nearly 500 years ago. But now I'm not so sure... 🤔
@@POVTours I'm sure you're correct that the wall art represents a university student group, probably a singing group. I don't know what they call such groups in Portugal, but I know that they are called "Tunas" in Spain and "Estudiantinas" in Mexico.
@@pncicitap2519 Exactly the same thing in Portugal: "estudantinas", or the much more common "tunas", for short.
@@POVTours They probably don’t call them “tunas” in Mexico because in Mexico “tunas” is the name given to “prickly pears”, the delicious fruit of the cactus plant.
