The TSO shows are always absolutely wonderful. The songs, the talent, the stage are simply superb. A tribute to Christmas with a dose of rocking high energy.
Greetings from Finland! I went on the TSO tour in Fort Worth last year and loved what I saw! The concert was really diverse and surprising! Seeing the Siberian train in concert sensitized me; brute man to the tears! One day I still want to see what TSO founder Paul O'Neill saw on his trip to Siberia! But when are the safer times to travel? Let us all pray for world peace this Christmas. Maybe your new president will make it happen? And a little fun fact to the end😎 Here in Finland we have a similiar Christmast rock show tour named "Heavy Christmast" It is performed by local rockers and uses traditional Finnish Christmas carols adapted to rock music. You can find our tour site using words "Raskasta Joulua" Merry Christmast to everyone!
4 years ago, my wife had purchased tickets for us to go see TSO in Indianapolis, IN. Unfortunately, she passed away a couple of days before the concert. I bought tickets for this years concert and went with her memory on my mind. I know she was with me from up above. Job well done, TSO. She would have thoroughly enjoyed herself. I know i did.❤
Two this year! Love, love, love your shows!! Can’t wait for next year already and we’ll do both shows again. We can’t get enough, you make our Christmas so special ❤
Oh my god I'm not the only one, I always imagine a Kingdom Hearts style bossfight against an evil Santa Claus... might have to make that a reality someday :P
Ščedryk (Ukrainian: Щедрик?, literally: Evening of Plenty) is a Ukrainian carol composed in 1916 by Mykola Leontovych. The piece tells the story of a swallow that flies through the center of a neighborhood to announce that the coming spring is coming. The carol is usually performed on the night of January 13 in the Gregorian calendar, which in the Julian calendar is December 31, when the "Afternoon of Generosity" is celebrated. The first performances were made by students at the University of Kiev. Years later, Ukrainian-American composer Peter Wilhousky adapted the theme into English under the title Carol of the Bells, which was performed on October 5, 1921 by the National Choir of Ukraine at Carnegie Hall. In 1936 he acquired the rights to the song, adapting the text to a more Christmassy context than the original. In the United States it is considered one of the most popular of the time. «Ščedryk ščedryk, ščedrivočka, pryletila lastivočka, stala sobi ščebetaty, hospodarja vyklykaty: "Vyjdy, vyjdy, hospodarju, podyvysja na košaru, tam ovečky pokotylys', a jahynčky narodylys'. V tebe tovar ves' chorošyj, budeš maty mirku hrošej, Choč ne hroši, to polova. V tebe žinka čornobrova." Ščedryk ščedryk, ščedrivočka, pryletila lastivočka.»
I truly appreciate the explanation and your time and effort, thank you much! I love TSO and appreciate the call back to early 20 late 19th C influence. I’ve felt the harried /hurried martial repostes in their music and it reminds me of “Age of the Crowns” … global military empires
I have gone to TSO since late 1999 but I will not go ever again since they got in bed with the ripoff masters Ticketmaster...They literally add in my case over 75 dollars in fees and for what, they no longer give out physical tickets which I have collected since day one and the cost of TSO tickets has doubled since the last two years since they sell their tickets to scalpers who drive the price way up and sell on the same Ticketmaster site. This needs to end or I am boycotting all concerts. Add on another 45 to 60 buck to park your car...NO thanks. Love your concerts even though they are not even close to what you did in the 2000 with full orchestras and choir singers but I get it, to costly on your part...but dump Ticketmaster and sell the tickets yourself...sue them, the feds are for being a monopoly!
OH, and I have been a member of the TSO club for years and I almost passed out when I saw how expensive the tickets were. I thought we got the best deal and seats being in the club...I guess not anymore. OH, Jeff Scott Soto's best friend was my roommate in college and I meet him and Malmsteen at one of my parties...glad he is still with you guys.
I tried to see the show this year at a venue that sells their own tickets. The price for a nosebleed seat was $170, and last year I got a floor seat at a different venue through ticket master for under $100. I get what you're saying though. Ticketmaster sucks for the most part.
Greetings from Finland from TSO fan, but not trans fan🤣🤣🤣 Got to correct this suspicion fast! Like original founder (producer, composer and lyricist) Paul O'Neill said from the name years ago: "In the 1980s I was fortunate enough to have visited Russia. If anyone has ever seen Siberia, it is incredibly beautiful but incredibly harsh and unforgiving as well. The one thing that everyone who lives there has in common that runs across it in relative safety is the Trans-Siberian Railway. Life, too, can be incredibly beautiful but also incredibly harsh and unforgiving, and the one thing that we all have in common that runs across it in relative safety is music. It was a little bit overly philosophical, but it sounded different, and I like the initials, TSO.
Britannica-internet site tells this too, but I can not put url-here. And a quote from that page. "Founder Paul O'Neill came up with the name for Trans-Siberian Orchestra after a trip to Russia in the 1980s, where he was impressed by the beauty of Siberia. He based the name on the Trans-Siberian Railroad."
I recorded the one of the little girl going out to meet TSO in the snow and they wouldn’t let me post it to Instagram and I recorded and edited and remastered that video two months ago and they tried to sneak it in there and they wouldn’t let me because that is my favorite video to this very song of the little girl that glass her snow globe her kitty opening the front door and running into the snow to meet the men of TSO ❄️🤍❄️
Have you been to a TSO show yet this year?
No, I didn't know you were already in Worcester in November. Every other time I've looked, you don't come until AFTER Christmas 😔

Disappointed that there was no 3:00 show in Buffalo NY :( WHY??
Одна з моїх улюблених, тому що це кавер на Щедрика❤️🔥
(Originally, it's Ukrainian song Schedryk, about Slavic pagan New Year)
Paulie Walnuts: hey, Tone, ain’t no way the whole orchestra is trans!
Tony: in this house the orchestra is trans! End of story!

Are you telling me this Siberian orchestra is trans?
This “Trans” has nothing to do with woke terminology. So no, the orchestra is not trans…
