3 years ago I was looking for Christmas metal music and there really wasn't much... found a couple songs which led me to finding a few really awesome artists but still was lacking on metal christmas music... this is awesome!!!! Just what I was looking for
Same. For me, a song isn't metal just because it's being sung by a metal artist. Metal is a sound. Years ago, my only go-tos were "We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year" (various artists - it still holds up to this day) and also TSO. We now have so much more to choose from. Magnificent!!! just found this. Was exactly what i was needing in my moment. X-mas is (and can be) something vastly different for each person. For some it is a direct celebration of the Saviour, for others, them gifts and the shining paper they are wrapped in... For others, its the nostalgia of once again promoting an older white-bearded chub hold pleasantly stalks our children, monitering their actions, bribingthem with toys and playing with them in his lap. (along with the fabled flying reindeer and a mysterious fellow called "Frosty" ...a.k.a. "the Snow-man".) For me, it is simply Spiritual... it is a moment given when much of humanity calms down and at least make an attempt to find love for one another. it is a time to be thankful of any blessingz from the prior year and one to cherish those new bleasings now on the horizon as the new year come. This sound is of those blessings, and that powerful piano is tugging at my heart-strings something crazy! It is uplifting on what is assuredly the hardest year of my life so far!!! Funny how good music can rekindle the spirit and sense of drive within! may you be blessed (all of you)
