I was one of the only ones who knew that Detroit team was going to win. Imagine if they added melo !!!
It wasn’t YOU. The entire team defense was perfect in those finals. No one player could stop Kobe.
Lakers plan B, breaking up team... maybe Tayshaun was not primary reason Lakers blew up team after 2004, but he may have lighted the fuse.
They definitely locked up Kobe that series. Pistons had the athleticism and length to play Kobe and Shaq one on one.
Kobe wasn’t at his full powers, 2003-04 season kobe was dealing with off court issues.
Naw that pistons team was crazy good on D all year
But Kobe was fucking swerving then tho! Phil told him dial it back for Shaq!
@@1khardimon that was the 02-03 season
@@Dipset415 you are correct but Kobe was not at his full potential or focus that season just go look at his stats. A 100% Kobe would have at least taken them to 7 games.
Why won't you and Sheed get in NBA2k!!?!?!
not true tony allen was labeled a defender and there was years he wasnt in the playoffs
The Pistons exposed Kobe Bryant in that series as being more about himself than about winning. Made him pass the ball to Shaq over and over in order to win and Kobe couldn't do it and shot the Lakers right out of the series. Complete embarrassment.
PISTON GREAT 💪
Kobe played horrible in that 2004 finals except for game 2 ( kobe had 35 points, including the game tying 3pt shot)
It wasn't LeBron 2011 finals bad but it was a bad series for Kobe.
Kobe is my favorite player of all time. But he GAVE the pistons that ring.. he literally chose not put up shots and play to his talents to spite shaq as they were beefing. If they were on the same page they would have won it easily. This is one of the very few reasons why I always put MJ above Kobe. Mj would never let his stubbornness get in the way of winning a ring. Hurts me to say.
Unorthodox Swiss Army knife game, fundamentally sound with a high basketball IQ… since Kentucky
He clamped Kobe up go look at Kobe numbers and percentages in that series
Mark
All that sounds good but in that finals Karl was hurt and he was important to that team that lost
lol man Lakers was still losing. He was hurt because he was old
man we beat they ass cut it out! 4-1💪💯
@@user-di1vv1fu3o lol yeah because they were getting locked up including Kobe. The pistons were the better more untied team.
lakers got destroyed in that series. Prolly one of the most boring finals of all time except game 1. They had 0 chance against the pistons that year.
@@Kaniala-l7s They lowkey should of got swept
he put the clamps on kobe. kobe shot the lakers out that series
& he didnt wake the beast trash talkin
I wonder what his skull looks like
I was so happy Detroit beat LA that year lol...
Kobe shoots 41% in finals even wit shaq gettin doubled hot got boxed or shot chucked
go take an english class boy
Held kobe 22ppg 35% from field....shut him down
Poor man’s Scottie Pippen. Extremely underrated.
Deeeeeeeetttrrooiitt baaaasssskkeettbbaaalllllll!!!
Locked Kobe up in the Finals. Shaq still salty about that L. 😂😂
He shut down Kobe. He kicked his ass that whole series. Kobe wasn’t Kobe that series. Detroit was simply better than the Lakers that series. The Lakers want to play it down but Detroit was just better.
Bryant stunk up the gym…
Bryant shot was broke that series..He shot them right out of the series smdh
2v5 with the paint shut off for Kobe. Jordan got to at least touch the paint before he got “hard fouled”. The difference between the zone d no spacing era and the illegal d era (Jordan’s era).
@@Nuthinnull understood the fadeaway jumper was designed to prevent the defense from the double and to take shots from the premiter, that's why Jordan was Better than Kobe he took better shots and made. More shots put him on that Lakers dream team there not losing
@@michaelryce6835 You don’t get it😂😂😂. He’s not getting the same deep positioning from the post vs zone d rules with no spacers and has to operate more from the perimeter-3pt line.
@@Nuthinnull Oh ok he of could played Alot better I never did get excuses slick make the adjustments 4 hall of famers including having Phil Kobe should of quit gunning and figure it out how to get it done that's how you become 2 to none
@@michaelryce6835The Lakers 3rd leading scorer was DFish at 6PPG on 30% the 2 “HOF” Malone and Peyton avg 4PPG on 30%
