I want Randle to get a ring so badly bro. Especially in NY. That would be the perfect bookend to a career. Dude get so much hate. You can tell he’s emotional on the court but that dude just hate losing. He’s always showing up in shape, can score really from all levels and never really misses games for load management.
I’ve met people like him, that tough mentality where everyone falls in line and know who the leader is. When I was younger it would intimidate me, now it’s proving to yourself that nothing bothers you with grit whether the “leader” acknowledges it or not .

This is the thing I respect the most about Kobe. He was a true student of the game and was always willing to share. I'm thinking Kobe was so open to other players because even if he taught them everything they still wouldn't work as hard as him
Really good interview, it's nice hearing from somebody different rather than the same rotation of interviewees. And RIP to Kobe. His work ethic and true desire to always strive to be better is what makes him my favorite player of all-time.
Kobe was so serious about the game and passionate about teaching the game to other players!! Randle should continue to act strong on the lessons Kobe left him with, for real !!🏀🏀🏀
& Ju really developed his jumper to the point where he has a nice in and out game, while maintaining the ability to play bully ball... During his Lakers years he was a 25% guy from 3, he had a year in the Knicks where he averaged 41%. Klay & Bogdanovic was at 41% this year., its top 20 % type stuff. Says alot about his work ethic and ability to take even harsh feedback from your idol.
I didn't know PG was likeable because I never followed his career, but he's very humble and takes the banter which has made this podcast very enjoyable to listen.
please do a cut about players dealing with injury . i watched the whole thing and it stood out so much to me. i had no idea that rehab was so brutal that it will make you question wanting to still play or not . made me think about what Zion said when they asked him about his injury and he replied something like mentally he was not ready to come back yet . such a great episode maybe cause im a knicks fan but really made me think for sure
I mean have you ever played sports ? Atleast professional athletes have the resources for rehab .. imagine hs or college level. Minor to major injuries without the same resources . On top of the mental side cause you do get worried it’ll happen again especially if it’s a multi time thing already
I played through high school football and never got injured so I am genuinely curious as well the struggles of rehab not to mention these pros have millions of people passing judgment on them for injuries.
There are very few things to be proud of as a current knicks fan. But one thing is we got Jules … and for as much as he isn’t the best , he had Kobe at least for a little while and I always could see how that we benefit from that.
This shit funny as hell. I still remember when Randle went down in his first game. Kob was standing right near him lookin like “Damn, poor fuckin kid.” And where he was with dealing with his own injuries at that time, I’m sure he was checkin in helpin the rook with his mental. Kobe breaking Roy's nose then telling him that he should have got out of the way makes perfect sense when you recall him dislocating his finger and popping it back in on the spot and getting back in the game😂
