    Found I was looking for. I commented in one of your video looking for drainage set up. And this is pretty detailed and easy for me to understand. My question is, for each drainage, how do you determine the square footage or a rule of thumb that a drainage can support an area. How would you know if one drainage is good enough for this slope and going to slope the cement on the other drainage.

      Great
      I really don't do calculations.
      What I like to do is have a back up plan.
      For instance if the drains do fail the water will still run to street before entering house.

    I'm a pretty new sub...really enjoy watching your videos with all the attention to detail, the variety of concrete work and the professionalism you show. Wish I had seen your videos back in 2009 before I had a patio poured, with half stamped and colored and a short retaining wall built in the front. It was definitely more about the money, than doing a good job, with the company that did it. Learning a lot watching your videos...thank you! Oh...quick question if you don't mind....I need to reseal the stamped part(they sealed the next day after pour, and it's been flaking ever since)....wondering if you have a video, or can recommend a video on the process to clean, reseal and what type of sealer? Area is only about 12' x 16'. Thank you!

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete
      @OdellCompleteConcrete  7 років тому +1

      Yes we have a video of sealing.
      Look for our videos, with the words stamped concrete. There is some sealer in those.
      TY

      Thank you sir....I will find and watch that video. I'm planning on pressure washing it and letting it completely dry first. I didn't plan on using a cleaner first, but it's been since 2009. Do you recommend a cleaner and scrubbing before pressure washing, or not necessary if it's not dirt stained? TY Your father taught you well...and wish you all were closer to Kentucky, you'd be my new concrete guy! :o) I had to make my guys put rebar in my slab, or they weren't going to do it, ugh.

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete

    Great video I enjoy watching the guys work but the question is that the property that she work at looks like something from The Last Emperor the colors the place looks like something from Chinatown but the question is hell did all you guys fit down that little walkway on both sides of the property and you were pouring that concrete knowing that you had a big worker with you🤔😂😂

    nice job david. I work for my dad and we always get finishers for our concrete work. i like how you were nice to the water guy with the box in... not so much for the gas company.. i fricken hate gas lines but half the time they do cover them with gravel so you know you're about to hit them.. maybe.. how did you end that where you ran short? just slope it off? saw some guy that had to string lines that had to stay and he keeps a can of clear paint with him to hit the stringlines.. only when its important i guess but it works ok and they will stay there forever like weeks..

Most text are so technical that you sometimes never get the point. Many authors seem afraid to give away some secrets if they know the secret??? You make it look easy and it comes out great.
