    Mewes is a true inspiration for anyone out there any hard times. The man has hit rock bottom with really no hope at all with all friends thinking he was a lost cause, Kevin never gave up on him and he’s grown up to become one of the best all around people you could ever imagine. He’s so down to earth it’s refreshing.

    Congrats Jason on bn sober!! I have been half clean been going to a methadone clinic now for almost three months. Was using I.V drugs for 8 yrs on pain medicine for 10 yrs for age 16. 28 yo now! Glad i don't crave and don't have a needle in my arm for breakfast with a boss that's my addiction yelling at you 24/7 in your head to get Smack,Tink and pretty much anything you could put in a rig. Glad that's over. 110 mg a day and going up cause still not at my stable dose. But i'll get there with time.

      Good luck man, try to not fully rely on the methadone to fix everything. You got to work through mental hurdles too or else you'll never get to the root of your issues. I go to a methadone clinic too and it took me awhile to realize that the power of staying sober is in me, not the medication I take.

    • @sayhuhhhh
      @sayhuhhhh 6 років тому +2

      Not really... especially later in the interview. He looks a little nervous and anxious about talking about his addiction. But a lot of people (especially performers) who abuse drugs do so because they feel it helps them function and overcome anxiety. Often, when they're sober, they're totally different people....this is who he really is.

      @@dylanthrillmour866 no way he is clean. I think he still does opiates, but doesnt shoot up anymore. Just smoking or snorting. In this interview he is under the influence of opiates, or a heavy tranquializer. But he kicked heroin, and he shot up, when somebody does that, they can control smoking and snorting it pretty well. And he has money, not much, but he is still earning. So he has the cash and the selfcontrol. Though he was high here and on some other vids, they went on with the Jay and Silent reboot shoot (though that doesnt says anything, because in Dogma he shot up, and still nailed the role)

    Damn, Jason looks like he's about to nod off and high as hell. Don't get me wrong, I'm in recovery and clean for the past 7 years. He just looks like he's really really struggling, but maybe I'm completely wrong. From one prior opiate addict to another I just don't know if I believe he's being straight. itching his arms and head, slurred speech, just reminds me of old habits. Hope I'm wrong, but addicts are incredible at lying and painting a masterpiece of deception and bullshit.
