2 - Keiji is hallucinating the whole thing
Other idea: This is what the AI's do in behind the prize counter while everything is going on. With Rio just reveling in the chaos that stems from this.

I just finished chapter one of YTTD and I cannot stress enough on how sad it feels when Sou says that he did lights and then Kai says that he did them and saw Sou coming from storage
