That inscription is priceless! Yes it is a piece of History! So happy for you man!! Send Moscowitz was also a big historian on the Golden age: for the longest time his were the only *real* nonfiction books about science fiction/histories of SF that were generally available. He kind of had a series. You're right to cherish it. It's a big deal! Rock on! You've also got some other really cool stuff in there but. . .
‘The Revolving Boy’ was a fun read. Definitely a keeper. Great bunch of books. So many beautiful vintage covers. That last book with Moskowitz and Pohl notes is incredible!!! Amazing find!
Scoring a copy of Chains of the Sea is not an easy feat these days! Bravo! Enjoy the story too! Also, next time I come across a 1st Berkley Dune, it's yours my friend.
Looking forward to the library tour! Wilhelm and Laumer... That is a fine bookshop that has opened in your home town! Great haul, some great books, great covers and exciting to watch. This was fun to watch and you have a few great books in there that I look forward to you reviewing. Second Foundation/Foundation and Empire, though; why is there a kangaroo on the cover? I don't remember ANY kangaroo in the story. I might be overthinking this.
Excellent additions to your collection! You now have several favorites of the magazine era of very widely read SF. I have been suggesting the Laumer, van Vogt, Biggle, Zelazny, etc. works, for several years. I think you will be pleased with them all!
China Mountain Zhang. Score!! One I want to get myself. I really like those Avon Foundation editions, almost as much as my Panther copies. Great haul Ira, always fun to get a big lot.

The last book was quite a surprise. Good to know about Revolving Boy.

There you go again, being horrible at capitalism. 🤑 Let me know if you find one, maybe even a trade.
@@sfwordsofwonder I am absolutely horrific at capitalism, but I'm real good at re-homing Dunes. LOL
Got to love those big book hauls. I could just sit and stare at covers and read synopsis for hours
Yeah, TBR keeps growing too, haha.
I love that Hainish bce cover art. Awesome find at the very end! A piece of SF history!
Definitely an upgrade on the Le Guin. The Space Merchant book was a nice surprise.
Brunner's Shockwave Rider is a fun precursor to the internet. Almost made me feel out of breath.
Sounds interesting, I'll be tackling Stand on Zanzibar later this year.
Looking forward to the library tour!

I don't think its a kangaroo but a mule, although it does look a bit like a kangaroo.

Thanks, and keep the recommendations coming. Cheers.
Why you wouldn't want to read, review, and cherish "Star Fighters" forever is beyond me. That book is clearly a masterpiece
What is your address?

I thought the same thing! That book looks so hilariously awesome
Great grab on that Dream Master! That is a first edition first print!
Yes, I love the smaller format Ace books.
Great haul! Love to see those great finds!
Thanks for watching

Was it you I saw talking about China Mountain Zhang? Yeah, hauls are fun.
🍿 👀
Great stuff as always!
Love "Wasp" by E.F.R. Cool cover too.
I need to get to that one soon, Richard over at VintageSF did a great review of it.
Moderan is a great find. Lucky you.
Sounds like a great book, I'm thinking about reading it before the end of the year.
Bart Somers is a pseudonym for Gardner F. Fox.
Thanks for that, I didn't know that.
I'm sure you get asked this every video, but where do I get those shelves?!
I built them myself and did a video on the construction: ua-cam.com/video/YjYaY9rGhu4/v-deo.htmlsi=S7B3G1x63u1EK41M
