I remember watching the news coverage of TWA 800 as a kid. That was the first major plane crash I’d ever heard about and it scared the hell out of 8 year old me.
The first flight, TWA 800, there is a tragic tale of a mother. I remember the interview conducted with a mother of a young girl who was on the way home from college. She called her mom and asked for her mother's opinion since the airline offered cheaper ticket if she took the later flight. I think late night flight or something. The mother told her daughter to stay put on the doomed flight. I just hope the family can move on with such terrible tragedy.
Of course the mother blames herself, but nobody could have known. Nobody. It was a random, benign advice. The blame should go where it should go, not an ounce of it should be on her.

@Ray Avila And the destruction of the TWA 747 be it a missile bomb or explosion would have produced the same rapid in-flight breakup. At the time it was comparable to the Lockerbie disaster in 1988.
Eye Witness accounts are the lowest and most unreliable piece of evidence there is. You see something you can't understand so you make sense of it. It's why Rhinos used to be described as Unicorns by Europeans who traveled to Asia. Not to mention, that because sound travels slower than light, by the time you heard the sound of the explosion it had already happened so when you looked up you saw the plane in two pieces, not a missle. And if you actually saw the full documentary they said that the damage did not match that of a missle.

We didn't "think" we saw a missile, we SAW A MISSLE ASCEND TOWARDS THE PLANE.
@Ray Avila You explain to me why 756 eyewitness statements myself included, were disregarded by the FBI. And secondly if friendly fire was involved, which id bet my life it was then there would be a reason for a "cover up"!
@@spekify604 Don't Tell me what i saw through my monoculars that night, wayyyyy before the sound even reached me.
@@deltaboy767 You have literally no proof other then "I saw what I saw". Not even a single sailor is on your side and they are known to speak up and their inability to keep secrets because they WILL gossip and write home about it.
You dont even try to argue against my points and instead return to your only and weak arguement that I've already poked holes through.
From the what river? I live just outside Charlotte, and I don't recognize the river name. I'm just trying to understand where exactly this happened.
I have a flight tomorrow 😢
Welcome to the club. I watched prior to flight & I'm flying again next month April 2023. No worry.
It's James Kallstrom, former head of the FBI New York Office!
Bruh how was it possible that the plane wasn’t destroyed. The plane that crashed in a terrain after the 1st one the plane looked like it fully got destroyed but the front was still in piece.
A stroke of luck lol. More like the hand of God. Im sure majority if not all of those that survived dont count their survival as a stroke of luck.
