- I'm so proud to present the first video of the HEELS INTENSIVE 1st Edition NYC that just happened last week end at Alvin Ailey. HEELS INTENSIVE is an event that was organized by Myself and Danielle Polanco featuring guest artist Aisha Francis. It's all about the heels technics… Finding the perfect lines… Because We don't do flats !!!
This is def one of my favorite time teaching and collaborating.
Not only Danielle is everything and more when it comes to dance, but she's also very simple and a fun crazy wild loving woman that I've fell in love with.
This choreography was created by Danielle and Myself to one of my favorite Sade song, It is a very sensual piece and much harder then it actually looks a haha #GoodLuck !!!

The most inspiring moment was when the girl at 4:37 does her turns and you Yanis basically encouraging her to finish. He really was instilling confidence other dancers. Phenomenal.
It's so nice isn't it, I don't know about you but I'm a dancer and it really helps to have encouragement from your fellow students and your teacher. You can see his passion and love for dancing on his face when he watches his students! I love it!!❤️
+Ellie Trueman Totally agree. You can dance alone and the choreo looks subpar, but when you're in class, and everyone is screaming as you're killing it, makes you turn it up even more. It's an indescribable feeling.

OMG that solo dance from that female dancer was like magic. She seemed so light. Second, to be so young and full of dreams and ambition and to actually live it must be like living your dream. I wish I had the courage at their age when I was young to be so fearless.

The comments seem to be focusing on the girl in the grey tights, who has an epic body, is flexible, and executed her moves proficiently ... but dani's movements were so organic, feminine, and beautiful that I think she was definitely the star of this. I love to see a dancer moving so smoothly that you don't get the feeling that they're following a choreographed sequence, just flowing with the music. Speaking of subtle nuances, check out the butt jiggle at around 1:50 that's perfectly timed with the music. Love it!

I LOVE Yanis so when I heard he was coming to NYC I had to go even though I do not dance. As someone who was there to BARE witness the girl in the grey was by far on a whole 'nutha level. She gave you sultry, power, control and her freestyle was mesmerizing at the end. That was all her. She is an amazing dancer, truly gifted.
