Thank you friend. Really appreciate your effort and your response. I followed this video and it all works now..don't know why it didn't before. This world needs more men like Ron Swanson :) Cheers from down under!
I mess up and fail to disconnect one item during the joystick firmware update. Now the simapp with not see the base. The app see and can read the version on the joystick but not the base. How or can I clear or reset the base firmware. The newest version of simapp can not read the base.
I have the f-16 throttle setup, everything works fine except when i advance the trust, nothing happens. Ive tried binding-rebinding and it still wont work. As I said, everything but the thrust works. Thoughts???
Hmm in DCS when you look at the axis for the winwing, do you see it moving? Also in the winwing software, is there a mode that it's on that isn't default?
Why won't my orion2 joystick inputs read on simapp? The throttle base reads everything just fine. Also, the throttle and joystick are shown separately under the devices tab, so maybe that has something to do with it?
Might be a loose ps2 connection within the joystick. Try unscrewing it and putting it back together, then running the app. It also might be the base firmware, maybe check that for updates first. Good luck 🤞
Hi Seth. Thanks for the sub! I saw it when I was streaming Scorn. Are you running the Steam, Standalone or Beta for DCS? If so, check the folder path to your saved games / program files. Check the gear icon in simapp pro and see where your install path and user data path are set up.
I just got the Orion V2 throttle and this thing is awesome. I'm brand new to DCS too and was surprised that the thrust wasn't bound to the RY and RX, it was bound to the dial on the RX instead. Is that normal? Also the Simapp cloud wasn't coming up for me, so I'm going to try this tomorrow.
I have the orion 2 as well. So odd that its not configured in any way that makes any sense. After some head scratching and tinkering ...and help from these videos, it all starts to fall into place.
Hi whatwas44. I think that's normal for DCS. Mapping is kind of a joke when it comes to what comes stock on the DCS device detection software. My logitech flight rudder pedals would also control the flight stick. It's best to spend an hour dialing everything in per module, before feeling confident that you won't accidentally eject yourself out on the tarmac when tapping the parking break :P
@@69columbus I agree. you think the manufactures would give DCS the config files directly to be able to just implement them in their game. Most racing games do this.

Me ha salvado la vida.

Oh no! Contact winwing and see if they have a flash tool to install.
