- Swedish pop duo Ratata (Mauro Scocco and Johan Ekelund) invited in 1987 Frida to join them on the song "As Long As I Have You".
The song was also recorded in Swedish and here called "Så länge vi har varann".

Stas Rybakowski. What nonsense. Post ABBA did she not release a highly successful solo album containing the worldwide hit 'I Know Something's Going On'? It works both ways. Ratata actually came to her with the song. Do you not think that having her on board would give them a greater international audience? If not for Frida, I wouldn't have heard of them. How was she 'milking' Benny and Bjorn? She and Benny were a genuine couple years before ABBA hit the big time. She was even reluctant to become a member because she had her own solo career with debut album behind her.
I remember she met the Ratata guys at a birthday party or something like that. She told them she would like to work with them. And they contacted her later to record this song. If I am not mistaken, she told this herself in the Frida DVD. That's not "milking" them in any way. She was out of the music business and rich enough by then. She didn't need any kind of promotion, just liked the duo and wanted to collaborate or do something together. Ratata scored a hit thanks to her involvement in the recording. Also, could someone explain how she was "milking" Anders Glenmark? He produced her album, and he must have been paid for his job...

Sounds tho some in here...thinks Anni Frid...has to have all of your permission to spread out...and do other projects. With whom she pleases. Remember. All four of the members had solo careers...before ABBA existed. Agnetha has her own...so does Bjorn...Benny...and Anni Frid. I adore Frida very much, but in fact the only thing she was doing after her ABBA period was milking young talents and promoting herself through achievements of other performers.
Ratata never intentionally invited Frida. She offered them herself and proposed doing something together. Young talented boys just ould not resist.
Frida is a very beautiful woman and she really can sing. But it seems like she has always been milking people. First Benny&Bjorn, then Ratata, then Anders Glenmark. Etc...
She was a super star back then .... one of the biggest ... she didn’t need to milk young talents !!!
