@@gunsque9982 thank you man I appreciate it! Have you gotten the gear bag that you can get for free from Springfield armory? I’m gonna get one when I get my hellcat. But idk how long it takes them to send it to you
All new guns are supposed to be field stripped, cleaned, and lubed before shooting them. The oil from the factory is just a protective oil to prevent rust while it's being shipped and in storage. It's different than gun lube. Also, I have taken new guns apart right out of the box and found really fine metal chips, dirt, and debri inside. They're not always cleaned well. Another reason they should be taken down, cleaned, and lubed prior to shooting. Shooting it with metal chips and other debris in it can damage it and cause reliability issues.
Thanks…maybe I’ll change my method then…but I feel like if it can function correctly right out of the box without being cleaned or lubed, that’s a good sign that it will be reliable. But I get your point because my CMMG Banshee wasn’t really reliable out of the box but cleaned & lubed, I haven’t had a malfunction since
I'm with you dude. My wife got the Hellcat and I wasn't a fan when I shot it. Found out about the pro and the differences and went and picked it up. No complaints. I love this thing. If you put a light on the end (I got the TLR7-sub) and it helps with the snappiness. Makes it much more controllable. Break in period may fix the tight feeling you're talking about. I haven't noticed it with mine. to me it just feels really secure. I recommend Werkz if you get a light. Its the holster I use and I love it.
Thanks! I think I will put a TLR-7 on it eventually, I just have to break it in some more. Also want to put a red dot on it. I love the gun, I just wish I had more range time with it, but I’ve been so busy. I hope to have it broken in with a few thousand rounds through it by summer
@@gunsque9982 same here lol. Ive had mine for about a week and a half and I've only put about 250 through it. I have the SMSc shield installed and its my 1st red dot so I cant compare it to anything but I enjoy it. The dot co-witnesses well with the sights and with the SMSc I have a full sight picture of the front sight. With the wasp on reviews, I always notice it cuts the front sight in half.
I like everything u said until u said glock. I hate when people compare anything to anyone. The hellcat pro is a great gun. Springfield makes great guns. I have a 10mm xdm elite 10mm. I tell my friends get a gun that u feel best fit u.
I can definitely respect what you say, it is a great gun. It’s so great, it’s about to be my main EDC, in the process of setting it up now, stay tuned, I’ve already ordered stuff for it…
I'm really liking the looks of that! I bet once you've fired a few more rounds you're really going to enjoy it, maybe even more than your Glocks (dare I say!). Throw a few more hundred rounds through it, then reassess if you want to add the gizmos. I really think you can get used to using it as is. Your shot groups right out of the box were good. To me, that means you can only get more comfortable with it where you don't "need" anything added to it and get consistent, deadly accurate shot groups. * Just something to suggest, and I'm no professional, but practice counting your shots off in you head (if you don't do it already). Do it always so it becomes second nature. Great review and looking forward to another video after a few more magazines have been through it!
Thanks! Yeah I already like it better than 2 of my Glocks lol. I actually do count shots in my head. I just wasn’t sure how many rounds were in the mag because it’s actually hard to get all 15 in there and I forgot my loader lol. But yeah I’ll definitely put around 1000 rounds through it before I think about doing anything to it. That’s a lot for the advice!
Yerrrr wassup my guy doooope video, my comment doesn’t retain to this video really but a previous on. I’m gettin my olight baldr S BL, got trijicon HD XR night sights on, got a tyrant magwell with a overwatch precision trigger on my Glock 45 9mm. Waiting on your build playa! Love the content, stay safe stay dangerous

Subbed. I could stare at that FDE all day. Mine is black and looks pretty awesome too. Not quite ready to carry it but it’s not bad to shoot.
It’s a beautiful gun. Great video!
Thank you!
Are you liking the gun any more now that you've had it a while? I really like the FDE!
Loving it! I’ve actually started to set it up for EDC. Check out my other videos and stay tuned, I’m definitely not done with her!
That's awesome! Can't wait to get mine :)@@gunsque9982
I put the apex trigger in mine and man made it way smoother and just as reliable
I might have to look into that…

Jealous bro, mine is black and I love the tan version! I'm thinking about putting the Alex trigger in mine. Great vid!
Thanks! The black one is sweet too. I’m also thinking about a trigger as well down the line
@@gunsque9982 Do a review if you do upgrade! I will when I do.
Do you think it will become more loose and be able to get the full mags into it easier? Nice looking firearm.
Thank you! And yes I expect that it will, just needs some breaking in
Yoooo I'm punching the air rn I ddnt know there was an fde coming out 😭👊👊👊
I didn’t either until I walked into the store lol
