I have a similar set up with the G43x except I gambled on the PSA micro dagger 15+1 mags and didn't have to change the mag release because those mags are polymer in the area of the mag catch. And it's working out so far as my trip to the gun range revealed. They're also almost half the price.
I don’t know how anyone could totally trust those mags, they work great for you, lots of people say they don’t, some say they get a new spring and it fixes, sometimes not. How could you trust a mag that constantly has issues? Think about it, who has any complaints (other than capacity) malfunctioning stock mags?
Over 2,000 rounds with 1st Gen S15 mags, some with the 5 round extensions and I’ve had zero magazine related malfunctions. Only malfunctions I’ve had were with crap reloads I bought and regretted. Would trust my life to them.
I have the shield arms mags for my 48 I’ve had them for about a year now and they function just fine honestly it really depends on the gun some 43x/ 48 takes the mags and some don’t but I don’t think that’s a bad thing
I love my 43x. Mine has the silver top on it….also shoot the same mags from shield arms….I have 2 right hand mags I’ll sell ya . I bought them when they came out and didn’t realize they only shot right handed….so when shield arms made the left versions I bought those and now I have 2 right hand mags just collecting dust
If you like how the Glock 43X conceals, you should check out the Glock 43. It literally disappears and I'm more accurate with it than any other of my Glocks. It may not be for you since you prefer more rounds. I like how you mention other magazine options, though. I'm a "only use Glock magazines" guy, but I appreciate the fact that you covered the issue with the magazine catcher and Shield Arms magazine since many people aren't aware. It's well known that the ETS magazines aren't the most reliable, but they look great, offer more capacity and are perfect for range use.
Are you happy with the tlr6? I’m hoping the 100 lumpen’s is bright enough. I guess 100 lumpen’s is good enough for anything out to 20 yards at night, we’ll past what I’d need for hd or cc.
I think it’s good for self defense situations. It’s still bright enough to blind an attacker up close. I own a TLR 7 sub for my Hellcat Pro that I haven’t done a video on yet and I really like it. I’m thinking about getting a rail attachment for this one and switching to the TLR 7 sub. If I do, I’ll put the tlr 6 on my G42, it fits both 👍🏽
The light in the video is the TLR-6. If you want a laser to be included, then you’ll want the TLR-8 sub (it may be difficult to find holsters, though). There’s also the TLR-7 sub which is only a light. The 43X MOS version allows you to add an optic and bypass the laser if you think it’ll give your position away. Do your research, get what you like and train with it.
Gonna save you some time and posibly your life get the psa dagger micro slick mag 15rd they are better than the oem mags ..they fogured iut the sweet spot used polmer and metal.also you dont need to get metal mag release cause it is half polymer
I was never a Glock fan...until I bought one (42)! It's currently my daily carry. Quality handgun, no doubt. Glad you're still liking yours.
I’ve actually been thinking about getting a 42
Great review! Love the 43x. I don’t own one but I have shot it a few times. Keep going Fam

Speaking on the shield arms.
I haven’t had any notable issues with mine, if I do, I’ll go back to the OEM

Definitely a fun shooter! Glad it’s working for you
Definitely is! Thanks!

Nice! Email me at guns.and.que@gmail.com with details…
I love the 43x, I have 2 1 mos 1 non mos. Just a suggestion add a talon grips if you feel the grip texture is slippery
Thanks! I think Talon Grips are my next addition 👍🏽

I’m actually seriously considering a G43 for summer months. There’s a good chance I’ll be adding one to my collection soon!
Good heads up on the magazine info
No problem!
Great video!
Thanks a lot!

Exactly!
Have u tried the brand new psa mags yet? Gonna order me a few for range days wit my 43x but ill always carry oem
I haven’t, but I’m definitely going to check them out
Do you have rails on it for the light , I got a 43x but stores keep saying the light won’t work
It’s a TLR-6 from Streamlight. It’s designed for guns with no rail
@@gunsque9982 So it’s a go I appreciate it💯
@@CrowG19 The Glock 43X MOS version has rails. The Surefire XSC is costly, though.
@@selfmadetoolis that the light/laser used in the video? I’d like to add the same light laser setup to my 43x mos
