Chaka was only 25 when she recorded IEW Whitney was 29 and Chaka sounds like an older more ( fully grown woman) powerful singer at that point than Whitney had ever sounded. Whitney was so amazed by Chaka vocals that her friend Robin said Whitney would play Chaka's songs daily. There are things Chaka did that no other singers can do still to this date vocally, paraphrasing Whitney. Finally, like I said the bridge of IEW is so difficult to sing in Chaka's key with the runs, not even Whitney could sing it live and even in the studio version Chaka's voice is wayyyyy more powerful. And If you can't hear it than you're just being disingenuous and will lie about anything and I completely understand you know nothing about singing, you just like good music and Whitney was your favorite singer, just don't be so delusional.
