Just north of Eagle River you'll find the bakery and jam shop The Jampot. Run by byzantine monks and located on the shores of Lake Superior, the Jampot serves up everything from homemade james and jellies to fresh baked goods.

Don't be. They wear covers in the kitchen. Took them off for the video I suspect. The jams and baked goods are literally the best I've ever had in my 50 years of life. My favorite is the seedless raspberry jam and the carrot cake muffins the size of softballs. The prices are steeper than some places but it's top quality ingredients. I guarantee you won't be disappointed...unless you show up on a Sunday when they are closed. :)
