Why I Don't Enjoy Making Videos While Camping and Backpacking (Which I Filmed While Camping)

In this short video, I describe why I don't like making videos or filming myself while camping, which I actually filmed while camping. Yea, ironic, I know. But I did want to try making a video on a short weekend trip and see how I liked it. In the end, I didn't care for talking into the camera but I do like taking videos and photos of the scenery to share. I feel that focusing too much on filming the trip and how certain moments would make for good video took away from my experiencing of actually being in the moment and enjoying the trip.
To be clear, I am not criticizing those that like to do this and do it well, because if it's something they like to do, makes the experience better for them, and others enjoy it, that's great. But I have learned so far that attempting to film myself while camping and backpacking is not for me.

Why don't you do it? Yep, I think that I made this video to prove that I actually use the gear while camping but now I'll go back to not making a camping video for a year.
@@thedanwatts9571 Possibly, I camp with my son, so I don't want to ruin his experience, but we do use the items that I show on my channel. I do mainly vintage surplus, but I do show more modern items. If I do, it will be in April on his Spring Break!
Nah it's cool. Its just not something you're used to or anybody is used to...however, it's pretty cool and pretty valuable and entertaining for US lol. So...yeah man I'm cool with it. thanks
