Stuart Sutcliffe was an original member of The Beatles and played bass guitar with the band during their early years in Hamburg, Germany. He was an art student and close friend of John Lennon. Sutcliffe's artistic talents influenced the band's early image and helped shape their identity. Unfortunately, Sutcliffe passed away in 1962 at the age of 21 due to a brain hemorrhage.
