- Review of the QSP Gannet folding pocket knife. The Gannet is an attractive looking knife that has quality features and functions. It has 154cm blade material, micarta handle scales, carbon fiber bolsters and ball bearing pivot for a nice combination on a everyday carry.

QSP make some great knives, got my Penguin in my pocket right now.
Great review Mark.
Yes I agree and the Penguin is probably one of their most popular models. Thanks for watching and the comment Tim!
Nice knife! Reminds me of a mini condor bushlore👍🏼
Nice to hear from you again! I is a nice looking knife and the QSP brand is attractive to me.
@@bladesandmore8833 yea was sick with the Rona then my accounts were hacked been a hell of a month😝
@@WomanOutdoors Sorry to hear and glad to see that you are better and out again! Account hacking is a bummer!
Thanks for the sub man💪🏽💪🏽
Thank you in return!
Nice knife and good review. Is it possible to get more volume on your videos as you are very quiet? Thanks Mark and keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching and the advise. I thought I was too loud so I turned down the volume. I will turn them up! Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. The knife looks restrained and stylish at the same time.
However, the pocket clip does not look the best, in my opinion.
But in general, the knife is good 👍
Hey there Little Ray! I appreciate the styling and quality of the QSP brand knives. Pocket clips can cause some concerns though. What do you see as the problem with the clip?
@@bladesandmore8833 In my opinion, the pocket clip does not harmonize with the appearance of the knife. The knife looks stylish, but quite restrained, with a hint of classics. The pocket clip is shiny, draws attention to itself, but does not emphasize the design of the knife. These are just my impressions
@@little_ray Very nice impression and explanation of your feelings toward the clip Little Ray and thank you. It appears like pocket clips can be a sore spot on many folding knives. And that is literally a "sore" spot!
@@bladesandmore8833 Indeed so.
It would seem that a pocket clip should be a fairly simple and incredibly useful thing.
And in practice, it is quite difficult for manufacturers to implement this part in a productive, convenient and aesthetic way at the same time.
So far, of the standard pocket clips, my favorites are those from Spyderco, Ontario, and Kershaw.
