"The Spin of Life" is a special film project about an exceptional career. KUKA accompanies Timo Boll on his way to Tokyo in 2020, and looks back on the special career of an exceptional athlete in an eight-part film documentary. From February to August 2020, this current Timo Boll documentary will be published on www.kuka.com/timo.
Part 3: International Breakthrough
Timo is preparing intensively for the 2020 Olympics, including a medical examination. We look back on the first meeting with his idol Jörg Roßkopf, who has to clean up at Timo's club, the TTV Gönnern. But this is exactly what helps Timo to reach the top of the world for the first time in 2003.

stimmt übrigens nicht, was im Abspann (s. dann Folge 4) über das Spiel von Boll gegen Liu Guozheng (CHN) gesagt wurde. Hätte Boll damals gewonnen wäre er im Viertelfinale gewesen und hätte gegen Ma Lin spielen müssen. Dass das die Beteiligten heute nicht mehr wissen, wundert mich.

Sorry aber, ...in der 7:38 min. sieht man Istvan Korpa den Trainer der Timo( und alle andere in die Nat.mann) immer im Ausland bekleidet hat und in der Regel sehr wenig über ihm berichtet wird(auch hier).
Alle erzählen über Hampel und hier wird auch gezeigt. Er hatte, und wahrscheinlich hat immer noch Flugangst, und aus dem Grund war Istvan mit alle diese Spieler unterwegs. Ich würde sagen der einer war für seine Start und Nationale Karriere zuständig und der andere Trainer für seine Internationale Karriere, im Jugend, zuständig.
