      @@Gamestar1st in distilled water,there are no ions,which help in reaction with hcl/naoh, so no reaction happens.but in normal water, ions are present,so reaction happens

    3:05 in the distilled water ions are absent so no reaction would take place with HCl or naoh, while if it is in water reaction take place 😊

    2:57 the reason why we need to deep the strips in distilled water is because
    •In distilled water the ions are absent .
    • when we dip these strips in water, reaction stops .
    •making it easy for us to check cloth without any accident and smell properly.

    We need to dip it water because if it dry then the smell is unevenly spread and can't identify the smell easily if we dipped it in distilled water(,it has no impurities and less ions so while keeping clothe in it there will no reaction)the smell spread evenly

      In distilled water No ions are present..So when acid added in water..they release H positive ions..so we can easily detect the presence of acid in the solution
