Dear Rob, just a tip about plastic weldig.. instead to use a regular welder.. use bicomponent polyuretane for plastic bondig... thats mantein plastic properties ( elasticity &strengh) and in case that plastic are ABS or PVC use a plastic primer to ensure adhesion...) and you can sanding and painting... ( use even for bike plastic body parts... is complitely repaintable with prefect results...)
