My 4 year old son with autism is about to turn 5 and he’s been requesting to watch this video at least twice a day. He insists on watching it when I’m tucking him into bed for the night, he just loves it. It’s given me a lot of inspiration for his birthday party in a few weeks. The cake looks awesome! When you use store-bought icing is easier to pipe if you whip it a little bit in the stand miker with the paddle attachment, the consistency will be so much better! You should try! Anyway awesome video! ✨

Kudos to you for taking on the huge task of making the snake. As I watched you ice it I knew it had to be very time consuming and thought you probably wished it only took you the sped up version that we saw. My kids are grown and out of the house but I do remember the fun I use to have preparing for their birthday party. I love the use of the tiered tray. Great idea. I would love a party hack or idea video. It's great to get ideas from others to help make the day of the party run smoothly.

hello Tiffany!!!! I did a similar technique on my daughters' cake ( I did a teddy bear) and I put frosting all over the cake before I did the stars...and it was a complete game changer because it camouflaged the dark spots and made everything seamless. Also, I learned from experience that Sam's bakery sells premade frosting ($40 for a tub) and it's sooooo easy to work with, the Pillsbury ones are just too soft and they don't hold up as well; they sell it in various colors and it taste really good too.
You should do a ‘party on the go’ business! Your decor and cakes be spot on! ❤️

My daughters 10th birthday party is this weekend. Doing my first balloon arch and im tapped out on the budget so no electric pump....wish me luck getting 100 balloons blown up lol.
Parties are a big deal in my home too. I go all out as well. My mother in law does our cakes, i do cupcakes. I also do as much as possible the night before so Im not rushed on the day of.
